“Very nice!”
The hotel was lovely! Very clean and nice. I highly recommend using the spa pool. It was so special and unique. I felt very comfortable at this hotel. The parking issue was a little scary, but we managed fine in our rental VW Golf. The light switches in the room may be a little difficult to figure out for Americans. Leave the card in the holder in the room if you want the lights to stay on for any length of time.

Very nice staff...upgraded our room to a suite. It was huge for Spain! Everything was in 10-15 minute walking distance! Great hotel!
“Un bon hotel très bien placé.”
L'hôtel est près de la rue piétonne des boutiques et en plein centre. Il est dans petite rue calme. Par contre, il n'y a pas de restaurants à proximité et celui de l'hôtel est cher pour la qualité moyenne des plats.

Very attentive staff and lovely rooms. We really enjoyed our stay. Hotel was reall central and good quality.

“Pretty hotel in a good location”
Excellent location for getting into the heart of Cadiz. Very pretty hotel internally but very unassuming from the outside. Room was large and spacious and the staff were friendly and helpful.There is an outside pool but t was closed as it is March and off season. The spa attached to it is run by another company and has an internal pool and a jacuzzi. I was told as a guest I would be charged the reduced rate of €15 Euros for 90 minutes use which I think is a bit of a rip off personally. All in all a good hotel though.

Located near the harbour, conference centre, bus depot and train station, but not adjacent to the beaches. Rooms and bathrooms are spacious, but as is common in Spain, toilets are tucked behind bathroom doors; who designed these? Some rooms overlook the glass-roofed courtyard, which can be cozy or a bit noisy, depending on your preference. Hallway lights were a puzzle, motion-activated, but usually turning off before I reached my end-of-hallway room door.
“Hotel Spa Senator, bel hotel mais mal entretenu”
L'hotel Spa Senator est un hotel récemment rénové, relativement bien situé au centre de Cadiz. Le personnel y est sympathique et plutot efficace. Cependant, le rapport qualité prix pour la chambre est très insatisfaisant. Les chambres sont petites et sombres, avec une forte odeur de cigarette y compris dans les chambres non fumeurs. Le ventilateur était mal fixé au plafond et faisait un bruit particulièrement inquiétant lorsqu'il était mis en marche. Au delà du prix élevé des chambres, les services au sein de l'hotel sont également pas à la hauteur du tarif, comme par exemple le petit déjeuner qui est particulièrement décevant. Il est dommage que l'hotel soit aussi mal entretenu, car la localisation est vraiment idéale, mais le confort des chambres risque réellement de mettre un bémol à votre séjour à Cadiz.
