Great stay. The wifi service was not that good from the room but the staff was great, room had everything we needed. The gym needs some TLC. Not very clean but everything else was okay.

Positives: Family room was very big with 2 good sized bedrooms and large social area. Negatives: hotel was grubby and in need of a massive clean. Breakfast was poor. 2 bedroom had a very small double. A guy who checked in before us was complaining about this. Room on had 3 towels for a four person room. Additional towels promised but not delivered by reception. I’ve been to many Mercures in France and Portugal and this was the worst.

Property is looked a bit tired and old corridors etc were dirty. Room was clean and neat and the room we were in had a new bathroom. Nevertheless still clean and comfortable.

Toilet did not work! No other room for me, said to use the bathroom in the lobby? New room next day, smell of smoke, told hotel was non smoking. Staff are not nice, maybe management is a problem? Reina Christina down the street is always a better choice!

Rooms are clean and as such acceptable. The problem is... The breakfast. Very very poor quality. I suspect that the pastry is being heated again and again. Coffee is near undrinkable.

Extremely disappointed !!
Restaurant offered only one item on the menu due to "alleged" renovations. On my second day, I fell thanks to a flimsy rug in front of the reception area and I am still suffering from pain throughout my body. They did not offer medical treatment and they simply gave me some ice. Internet was sketchy, they did not have tourist information and the one restaurant they recommended did not have adequate parking.

Spacious suite style room. As per other reviews there is no seating. which is a shame, as their would be nough room for a 2 seater or a proper dinning table with cumfy chairs, instead of the bar type and stools eating area. there is a washing machine. Wifi was ok, some lagging while streaming the game. Maybe a 30 minute walk from train/bus station, 20 minute from ferry port. Up the hill after the Corte ingles, which has a supermarket. breakfast is decent, ask for eggs your way with saussage and bacon (if available). They have a rental car desk in the hotel and a mini casino/bar.

Had a wonderful experience. The staff were friendly, knowledgeable and went out of their way to help us. The food at the restaurant was very reasonable and tasty. The room over looked the pool and was huge with comfortable furnishings. The location was great over looking the Mediterranean Sea. Will definitely return again next year.

A couple of changes could make a big difference
Had a couple of mix-ups regarding extra bed and crib in the apartment rooms, due largely to a language barrier (limited English spoken) and a lack of roll-away beds and cribs. (One night had to book an extra room, another night had to craft a baby sleeping area out of extra blankets.) Also, it is a very small staff running the whole property compared to other similar hotels. I'd recommend to hotel management that the apartments rooms (two bedrooms plus living area) be set up to sleep four people, either by having two twin beds in the second bedroom (rather than one twin bed) or by replacing the couch with a hide-a-bed couch. It is such a large room that it can and should easily accommodate four people but the hotel does not have enough roll-away beds or cribs available for these rooms.

Looks good but short on delivering.

Modern hotel in excellent location
Stayed for a week and had an excellent experience. All staff very friendly and accommodating. Excellent value, including breakfast and lunch which were also good value. Absolutely brilliant gym which my husband made good use of. Close enough to walk to all the most important places. In summary I would definitely stay here again.
