“A/C not N/H”
Fortunately there were plenty of signs from the main roads to this hotel otherwise it would not be easy to find. The AC Algeciras is next door to the NH Algeciras which we went into by mistake to begin with. We were so pleased we were not staying at the NH as it looked awful from our brief visit. We were just staying the one night on our travels through that part of Spain. The AC Algeciras had large rooms, good air conditioning, helpful staff and a good range of food for breakfast. This was one of the best hotel deals we have had as the hotel was cheap but excellent. I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying near Gibraltar.
“Great place to stay in Algeciras.”
The hotel is well appointed and the service was excellent. The room we stayed in was beautifully designed and everything worked as expected. The food in the restaurant was delicious.
“good solid hotel choice”
This hotel was clean and comfortable. I don't think there was any fun stuff in walking distance, though.
“Gilbralter View”
A terrific, clean, modern hotel with all the amenities. A welcome respite after a long and frustrating journey from Morocco. The staff were most helpful and accommodating. Our room even had a view of the Rock.
“Extremely great value!”
We stayed at many hotels in Spain, and this was, by far, the best hotel experience. Everything was so clean. The staff was nice and helpful. And the price was a great value!
“Very clean and upscale hotel”
We used this hotel as a stopover to Portugal from Spain. Had plannned to stay inTarifa but rooms were booked up. This was a very pleasant place to stay and parking was included. First class hotel.
“Loved it!”
I just stayed their overnight before going on to Gibraltar (45m by bus). I was VERY pleased with the hotel. Everything was new and fresh. The staff was really great, answering all my questions thoughtfully. For those wanting to travel to Morroco the port is about 1 km from the hotel and the staff can assist you. P.S. The minibar was free! I have yet to see this in another hotel.
“Beautiful modern hotel”
Awesome. Location, service and staff make this an amazing hotel for business or leisure. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.
“Travel oasis”
After a day of very stressful travel, our night at AC Algeciras was wonderful and relaxing. We felt newly energized for another day of travel. The desk staff were very accommodating to our questions, breakfast was more affordable than other hotels we'd stayed at (9 Euro per person), and the rooms were beautifully decorated and clean. The town of Algeciras wasn't a place of interest for us on our itinerary, but this hotel made our stop here very worthwhile.
“A happy camper”
We stayed 5 nights in, this, a very good hotel on the fringe of the town centre - hence blissfully quiet. This is an excellent base for further travel. Taxis service from reception is reliable and cheap. Room size adequate and well equipped including minibar. Staff could not be more helpful with good underatnding of English. I can recomend staying here. I'll go back.
