“Would use them again.”

Motel was older but the rooms were redone. Good shower and bath. Clean and safe with a McDonald's right next door.

“Good night's stay”

The Knight's Inn, Fort Madison, IA. is an older building but is well taken care of. All the little things you look for but sometimes don't get are there. Hot water and lots of it, good showers, smoking rooms (amazing in this P.C. era),convenient parking. There are plug-ins outside the rooms for block heaters in cold winters or charging up a boat or RV. Inside, nice TV, free wireless Internet, fridge & microwave. Great value for your money.

“A nice place got nicer”

We have stayed here before and they have made positive improvements since. Newer and nicer furniture, a working ceiling fan and a more comfy (less lumpy) mattress. They could stand to go a bit easier on the Pine Sol though. It was just a wee bit too strong when we opened the room door, but thankfully did fade quickly. The so called "continental breakfast" however is still a joke. A bowl of fruit, a wrapped up Little Debbie and a drink? Don't waste your time in the morning and go across the lot to McDonalds. I would stay here again, I just would make outside breakfast plans.

“Old but you get what you pay for”

The best way to describe this hotel is that you get what you pay for. It has low nightly rates and you get an old hotel room with no frills that is way out of date. It isn't super clean but it's bearable. It's right next to a McDonalds which is convenient.

“Clean but dated”

We stayed here on our recent trip to Nauvoo. The hotel was clean, but the service was poor and the room dated. I would look elsewhere next time I'm in town.
