“Comfortable stay”

Rooms were clean, service was good. Had everything I needed, shops, a few restaurants including a 24 hour restaurant with great specials, lots of gambling machines/tables and a lounge provided with live music.

“We don't expect a lot, so rarely disappointed, and usually more than pleased!!”

We got everything we needed for a great getaway. Rarely left the Resort. Gambling paid off, meals were paid with earned points, couldn't have been happier. One problem was the pool location. Right between two rising towers. You needed to be out there between 11 and 2 if you wanted direct sun. Loved staying on opposite side of street from river because the view was outstanding. Just make sure your room is high enough to see over other tower!!

“Wonderful place”

This hotel was a great place for vaacationing! the atmosphere and ambiance were very comfortable and welcoming; we found ourselves spending most of the time within the hotel. The restaurants and buffet were exceptional and food quality, preparation, and presentation wonderful. Will definitely return again.

“For the price, who could complain?”

The room was average. The place was quiet and relaxing. If you are looking to unwind after Vegas this is a good place to go. Unfortunately a lot of restaurants are closed Wednesday and Thursday, which is when we went.

“great hotel”

was a gret trip. happy with the hotel. could use a bigger tv as most hotels in area have updated to larger tv's.like the parking garage as don't have to walk a mile from the parking lot to your room and shades the car in the heat!

“trop express”

Although I stayed at the Tropicana Express for just one night, I was truly impressed. From the front desk girls, to the casino workers, to the cashier at the Taqueria Del Rio and the buffet servers...I was very impressed with the level of customer service. When I arrived, the parking garage was clean and well lighted and very close to the tower I stayed in. Perfect! I checked in and loved my room and the view. The room was very clean and well-maintained. The furniture and fixtures appeared new or reburbished (at the very least), but very modern and attractive. The hotel itself seems very well-maintained, yet antique, but definitely not old. It is quite charming. I was also impressed with the various dining options. There was something for every taste--seafood, Mexican, Italian, buffet. I've stayed at other hotels, mind you, with a huge selection of dining. But this was just right and reasonably priced. The casino was great. I actually won $400 on a slot! I've never wom anywhere else--ever! What a nice surprise. The pool was clean and pretty, too crowded. That's a good sign though. If it were dirty no one would be in it! The train theme of the hotel was cute. I just wish we were able to do a train ride. That would've been the icing on an already great stay. I must say, the one downside to this stay was the fact that I didn't get a chance to enjoy the nightlife. My bed was so darn comfortable I didn't stand a chance! I'd pay the hotel to let me sleep in that bed one more time!
