Recreation
The hotel offers an outdoor pool in the shape of a locomotive, with a spa tub in the "wheel." Adults-only swim hours are in the morning and evening.

“Great as always”
Everything was great. The hotel, the food, the service...all good. Just a note though, you have to go through the casino for food, and if you are sensitive to cigarette smoke, this might not be the place for you. But though the casino area is heavy with cigarette smoke, the hotel rooms were void of any aroma and very comfortable with the pillow top mattresses.
“A Wonderful Clean hotel with Great Service!”
This hotel was a really nice surprise!! The staff was really great and the room was extremely clean. There was covered parking right next to the hotel. The attached casino was very nice with great food. There is a good pool area and it is an easy walk to the Colorado river walkway. We couldn't be happier and will go back!!
“Our favorite”
We come to Laughlin for 7 - 10 days once or twice a year. The hotel rates are great. The service is friendly. The room is modest and clean. If you use your "Trop Card", the comps add up quickly. They have great entertainment and a variety of restaurants. The central location is great for walking to surrounding casinos. The only drawbacks, in our humble opinions, are the view from the room. Some rooms are better than others and it would be nice if the hotel was on the river.

this hotel was a confortable place.beds great, food reasonable prices, keep me from travel out of buildiing to find a inexpensive restaurant to eat at. Really like the little coffee shop and the "breakfast of champions" (donuts/rolls/sweetbreads/breakfast sandwiches. Working girl on the run.

We were very satisfied with our stay.
“JACUZZI SUITE”
WE BOOKED RESORT ROOM AT TROPICANA and asked for upgrade when we were checking in and only had to add $30 for three nights to upgrade to jacuzzi suite on the highest 24th floor with AN AMAZING VIEW! Room is so amazing with huge jetted tub very romantic and spacious but u cannot book it with expedia you have to call tropicana to reserve it. I suggest doing what we did booking regular or resort room and asking for upgrade. When we called tropicana and wanted to book jacuzzi suite they gave us an outrageous price, but it turned out to be waaaaay cheaper because we were already there with a room booked and just asked for upgrade. Perfect for romantic getaway, on and by the way they had a nice flat screen TV about 48 inch however when we stayed at jacuzzi suite at tropicana in september 2011 (few months earlier) they didnt have a flat screen, tv was pretty bad, so i dont know if they have updated in past few months or some rooms have flat screens.
