“Almost good”

Our stay did not start off well as we thought we had reserved a non smoking room and received a smoking room. Other than that the stay we OK. I think it would have been good except for that!

“Cleanliness issues”

Picked for convenience of area and price...bath dirty, and was grossed out with stains on large window seat. I even tried to clean up myself...Linens were very worn and stained. Nice staff, but doesn't make up for the rest. Booked years ago when it was brand new...big difference this time.

“Kind of Gross - Will Stay Somewhere Else Next Time”

Myself and a few friends took a long weekend and travelled to Buffalo to catch a football game. We stayed at the Microtel off 90 a few miles north. Rather disappointing: carpets throughout are stained, dust everywhere, paint used to touch-up walls is a completely different color than wall, found something suspicious in our in-room safe (think pill bottle with no label and some thick, gooey stuff inside), vents in AC unit caked with dust/dirt (still managed to cool the room), furniture very cheap looking. Bathrooms were ok-ish, staff was polite but room was very, very small. Not a pro or con (depending, I guess) but entire wall at the head of the bed was a darkened mirror.... a little strange. I'm not terribley familiar with hotel rates for the area but I feel I paid a little too much for the dirt and thick goo. Will choose something else next time!

“Not Impressed”

Shower curtain rod barely hanging. Toilet did not flush properly and would continue to run unless I jiggled the flush handle repeatedly. Tub drain would back up. Sheets either didn't fit the bed or were not put on the bed properly. The heat lamp in the bathroom didn't work. The room was not very clean. I am very disappointed.

“fair”

Staff was rude upon arrival. Hotel is kinda getting a upgrade but needs alot more than new paint on the walls. Beds were good and room was ok for what you're paying through a travel site. I would spend the extra and go to newer hotel in the area.

“stranded outside in Buffalo”

the bummer was showing up at midnight (I had informed the owner that I would be arriving late)and ringing the outside buzzer and having no one to let me in.....I later learned that the desk clerk was picking up people at the airport.....a sign on the door saying that they would be right back would have been very helpful.... I waited 45 minutes in 30 degree weather wondering if I would ever get to my room....let alone not get mugged .....just a sign on the door folks would really be helpful!

“Not impressed, do not recommend!”

Poor quality room, smells like urine. Cleaning staff failed to lock our door after cleaning our room on the 2nd day of our stay. Luckily we locked our valuables in our luggage and nothing went missing. When we informed the front desk, all they could offer was an apology. Staff failed to let us know the local calls and long distance calls to 48 states and Canada are FREE. We only found out by default while passing by the front desk and we overheard guests talking about it.

“No Shuttle Services, Airport is just 8 minutes away, Why??”

The Microtel Hotel is a budget motel and dont expect too much. However, when the shower curtains is stain and dirty. Or, Shuttle Services is not available to guest when the Airport is just 8 minutes away. They have a Shuttle Van always park in front of the motel, for what reasons if guest is not welcome.

“Not clean, not cheap”

The next door motel 6 was 20$ less expensive and probably cleaner than this hotel. The bathroom was dirty in the room. There was problem in check in and they had mixed up my check in. They had check in someone else in my place. good that I had my expedia reservation print copy with me!
