“What a nice surprise!!”

This is a brand new hotel. It has an indoor pool. The rooms are very nice and roomy. We highly recommend it.

“Outstanding experience”

Because my health was less than desired during the Buenos Aires portion of our trip, we spent the majority of our time in the hotel and could not have been more pleased. The small cafe provided a limited menu, but adequate for our needs and the employees offered superior support with suggestions for neighborhood take-out. They arranged a half-day excursion that was perfect as it was a small van and minimum other tourists. On the day of checkout, we were given several additional hours even though the hotel was fully occupied. Also, the neighborhood is relatively upscale and we felt very safe walking the streets during the day -- only a few blocks to the Recoleta Cemetery. The hotel can provide a private car/taxi (pre-paid) which we used for our ride to the airport. Our BA experience could have been a disaster but the staff and the overall ambience of the hotel saved the day.

“Great place to stay”

Great place to stay. Good location to make it either your base on either a pleasure or business trip. Nice size of room, clean and well equipped. Good neighborhood, great to loose yourself walking around.

“A Gem in Buenos Aires”

My friend and I recently enjoyed a three-night pre-cruise stay in Buenos Aires. We loved the hotel. It was new and modern looking and very convenienent to the various sites. The staff was very friendly and accommodating as well. I would definitely stay here again!

“Pleasantly suprised”

We travel a lot and I have to admit I was worried about staying at a Howard Johnson hotel ( I didn't think they were even still in business!). This hotel is very new, clean and all the modern convienences. Close to lots and the staff were EXREMELY helpful. Would definately stay again.

“Wonderful hotel in a great location”

We didn't know what to expect since the Howard Johnson name is not well regarded in the United State. What a great surprise! This hotel is wonderful. The room was large and comfortable, the decor was exceptional, the stafff was very helpful and the location is great. Strongly recommend to anyone who needs a well located hotel in Buenos Aires.

“Surprised at how large the rooms were”

I stayed with my wife and 5 month old baby at the Howard Johnson Recoleta a few weeks ago. The staff were knowlegable and helpful, the rooms were massive, and the quality of the hotel was great. We stayed in several other hotels around Argentina that week, and these rooms were by far the largest. I'm generally used to staying in "European-sized" rooms (small but comfortable), and this hotel definitely was closer to "American-sized" rooms. The only issue we had was with the taxi ride to get to the hotel from the airport (certainly not the fault of the hotel!) The Expedia website says it's on Av. Pena. The cab driver was puzzled and drove us all over the place until his dense brain realized it was actually Av. Peña (with the ~ character over the n). 'Tis a small detail for a foreigner, but apparently meant all the difference in getting there quickly (or not)!

“Wonderful time!”

This was such a nice boutique hotel, we thoroughly enjoyed our three night stay here. Rooms were large and attractive with flat screen, fridge, beautiful bathroom. The staff were very helpful with our questions about Buenos Aires as well as recommendations for restaurants and sightseeing. If we go back to Buenos Aires we would definately stay here again. The Recoleta neighbourhood is not only beautiful, but has restaurants, shops and we felt very comfortable and safe.

“Excellent hotel”

excellent location, 3 blocks from the Recoleta Cemetary. Hotel was clean and fresh, with only four rooms per floor. Breakfast was excellent. Hotel staff were extremely helpful with organizing tickets for a Tango evening and shuttle to the airport. Excellent in all respects.
