Computer was down and couldn't download a room key, then couldn't connect to Wifi. And when I called the desk, nobody answered the phone, so twice I had to ride the elevator down 13 floors to ask a question.

Super comfy stay
What a perfectly comfortable kingsize bed! Exactly the right balance of firmness vs pliability/flexibility (for lack of a better word :). Crisp, clean sheets. We slept sooo well! We checked in late (past 1am) and the process was super quick and efficiently done, even though it was way past their usual check in hours. Breakfast was lovely, very nice spread. Overall, we had a wonderful stay at Conte hotel. Another bonus: Checkout till 12pm! Thank you, to all the Conte.staff members, we love it here and will most definitely be back.

The hotel is nice, but very old. The rooms need to be updated. The location is excellent. The staff is a bit indifferent (expect the cleaning ladies who were always friendly).

Great location, right across the street from the bus station to the airport. Breakfast buffet has good selection. Friendly staff. Room was clean and spacious but needs a little maintenance (door is tight on frame so makes noise when closing and toilet has water drops noise constantly)

Great value for great position
The staff were very friendly and helpful but did take a long time to find a room for us. The lobby was in great condition as was the breakfast room but the room we were given was old and worn out. The toilet was loose and moved , the seat was disgusting. There was mould on the bathroom ceiling and all the grout in the tiles was mouldy. The carpet in the bedroom and hallway of our level was threadbare and fraying. The bed was comfortable and sheets clean but not so the pillow. Location was fabulous and hopefully they will bring the rooms up to the standard of the lobby.

Whilst this medium size hotel might rate barely a 2-star back home in NZ, it is its location on 9 Julio Ave just 2 blocks from the Obelisk, its great breakfast and reasonable price for 3 people that make this hotel worth a stay.

This was the most awful hotel ever! We had to switch rooms twice because the first room was horrible with very nasty carpets, the second room was less horrible looking but the toilet broke and started to flood the bathroom plus the internet was not working. When we finally settled in the third room, the safe broke and we were unsafe leaving our laptop and passports. The staff couldn’t care less about the clients, and the hotel hasn’t seen maintenance in a long time. Not to mention that the breakfast was horrendous: canned fruit, stale croisssants, and watery yogurt. An all around HORRIBLE hotel!

To future guests: avoid buying tourist packages from the front desk hotel staff members. They resell them overpricing more than 40% of real cost. For example, they sold me a citytour package for 750 pesos but the real cost was only 500 pesos. I realized about this situation during the tour itself when the guide began asking for payment to the people that did not buy in advance.

Hotel weekend staff spoke no English, Our room had no ac luckily we were on the 15th floor so there was a cool breeze from the window which we kept open the entire stay. There is no ice machine in the entire hotel , no facial tissue, no iron/iron board , I had to pay to have my dress ironed. We were given a password for the WiFi which never worked so we had to go to the lobby when ever we needed internet connection. The free breakfast was not very appetizing, no variety the same items on the menu everyday. The bet thing about this hotel is the location.

Hotel didnt have air conditioning on because supposidely it would be cold outside, but i couldnt sleep well and the staff said to open the windows to get ventilation but then mosquitoes came in the room. Breakfast wasnt very good, some fruits would be too ripe. Front desk employees where very nice but buffet employee was rude, but thats normal in argentinians. The good thing is hotel is right at the center of everything.

The hotel is very nice, we had a clean room with a king bed and a twin bed. We did have issues with WiFi , even though it was offered in every room, the only place that had a strong enough connection was the lobby. I wish the Hotel had more easily accessible outlets. The elevators are very ,very small so it may be problem for people with claustrophobia, The hotel offers an excellent breakfast (included) and the location is also excellent. Great value.

I found a few bugs on my room The day I've arrived and they told me The only they could do was changing rooms and they gave me one better!! since them it was always very clean. People from Argentina are very bad on client service

Great value, so so location.
Nice hotel, good breakfast included. Front desk staff was very helpful with Restuarant and transport advice. Room was nice, bed was big and bathroom was OK. Near subways and several good Restuarants. Location was just OK, busy streets, construction, ect. And it is a office building area, so limited nearby tourist attractions.

Solid hotel
Used Buenos Aires as a jumping off point for many trips in Argentina. The staff was very helpful and assisted us with a lost wallet and book in other taxis and hotels. They even made recommendations that saves us lots of money! We woyld recommend to a friend or business associate. Bar isnt that great and isnt really a social gathering type of hotel like others are. Overall good for a quiet stay.

What we would expect of a three star hotel, except that we were of the 12th floor and wi fi was not able to service that level. I had to visit the lobby to get consistent connection, and when I left the tablet connected as I returned to the twelfth floor the connection broke about the 8th or 9th floor. The problem was reported to Reception but no improvement was made during the three nights we were there.

This hotel is a very good buy. The internet/WiFi is so poor, it might as well not exist as is the case with the whole country. Overall, I'd say it is a very good buy! Diego, the hotel staff, saved us a big problem! Thanks mate!

Great hotel, Great Location, Great Breakfast.
Hotel is on the main street and close to all attractions. Florida street and main square is walking distance. There is a large Supermarket (Carrefour) only one block away. Breakfast is excellent and all the staff are very helpful.

Great location facing the 9th of July Ave. Easy walk (2 blocks) to the Plaza of the Republic (The Obelisk). Another easy walk to the Casa Rosado (6-7 blocks). Please note this is a busy city and there will be traffic noise in the hotel rooms that face the Avenue especially the lower level rooms. Our room was spacious, well equiped, clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful when asked about nearby dining possibilities and other activities. Usually one of the desk staff spoke English which helped with our limited Spanish. Overall, a good choice to stay at this hotel. Just be aware of the traffic noises.

Hotel Conte - Lots of room, not so many dishes
Good, central location - you can easily walk to Florida shopping, Plaza de Mayo and even the nice restaurant area of Puerto Madero by the water - though we usually took a taxi back - less than £4.  Very nice rooms, clean, comfortable and spacious.  Bit of street noise, even on the 13th floor.  Good but not great breakfast - limited hot food but good selection of fruit and tarts.  They regularly ran out of crockery so you had to sit and wait for the dishwasher to finish.  Reception staff very professional and helpful, breakfast staff not so helpful.

The Hotel Conte is in a central location
The hotel was clean and centrally located. The reception staff were very helpful. Our room safe was old fashioned in the sense that it had a retractable lock which often got stuck but reception were always happy to release it. The air con appeared to be centrally controlled and not in the room. When we stayed it was not needed.
