“traveller”
This hotel is the perfect location in Bratislava. Near tbe city centre but still quiet. Secure car parking, excelllent breakfast, computer in room . This isa fine hotel with very helpful staff and excellent service alll round. It scores top marks from us.
“Traveller from Wales”
We were delighted with our stay in this hotel. It does require some travelling but the price makes it worth it. Book the shuttle from the airport via Expedia; they were waiting for us on arrival. Either buy a Budapest card (free entry to 3 museums) or a travel pass (available from Reception or all transport stations for varying periods; we had 72 hrs) as these are great value. The bus 53 outside the hotel goes to the top of the hill where you get the 59 tram into Budapest and transport runs till about midnight, and the buses and trams ran very often. The area is a nice residential one - very quiet - and there is a little shop on the hill. Reception will also book the shuttle back to the airport. Small car park at front. Reception were lovely and friendly and spoke really good English. There is a bar at Reception. The rooms were immaculate, very clean laundry, and we had a balcony. There is a minibar. The complimentary breakfast was very good with plenty of choice and nice coffee. They serve 7 - 10 am. You need to go out of Reception and turn up the hill; it's about 2 houses down. We ate at the evening restaurant (open till 10 pm) every night as it was so good, really good value and a wide choice and lovely desserts. The wine was good too. All in all we had a lovely time in Budapest and would strongly recommend this lovely hotel as an excellent budget choice - cheap, clean, cheerful, lovely food, nice breakfast. We would definitely go back, try it!
“Friendly hotel”
If you're looking for a homey experience, rather than an international hotel downtown, consider Panzio Korona. The hotel is in a pretty, residential area on the green Buda side of Budapest. The staff is friendly and eager to help. The hotel has a nice restaurant, and the rest of Budapest is a short bus or tram ride away.
“2nd time to Budapest. This hotel was better than more expensive 3 Sar stayed at last time. The food”
Clean and quiet. Food is excellent and reasonably priced. The bus and tram is close and takes to the center of the action in Budapest. Well worth the effort staying out of downtown.
“Hôtel coup de coeur”
Nous y avons séjourné 9 nuits et avons beaucoup apprécié la gentillesse et la disponibilité du personnel 24h/24h. Nous vous recommandons vivement aussi le restaurant qui a un excellent rapport qualité/prix. L'hôtel se situe dans un quartier calme et très agréable à 30' par tram du centre. Excellente adresse.
“Nice Budapest neighborhood”
Korona Hotel Panzio is located in a pleasant residential neighborhood in Buda. Staff were friendly, rooms were clean and comfortable. There is easy access by public transportation to the center of Budapest. The restaurant in the hotel was convenient and the complimentary breakfast sumptuous. I look forward to staying there again when in Budapest.
“Very Good”
Although, as mentioned by others, this hotel is out of the city, it is very easy to get into the centre using the trams & buses (bus-stop directly outside the hotel). There were a few minor problems (not enough hot water in the sink, neigbouring dogs barking incessantly) but on the whole, for the price, the hotel, staff and breakfast were all very good.

We prefer sheets and blankets rather then what they first provided.They did exchange them appon request. The people were very plesant & helpful.
“perfect,clean,comfortable excellent staff”
Could not fault this place. Spotless. linen all very well laundered. not a mark or stain anywhere, wish that laundry service was over here. Apparently a guest once found a spoon under the matress, unfortunately I was unable to lift the matress to find mine !!! The balcony was a joy very peaceful and coffee and meals were served there if you wish. They were very good at suggesting places to see and booked the taxi for us which always came promptly and returned us to the hotel at the time we asked for. I am disabled and had a few stairs to contend with but they could not have been more helpful and I managed very well as I am not wheelchair bound. Best spot in the city don't miss it and the price was right !
“Korona Panzio”
Stayed for 5 nights, the Hotel is a little further out from town than what i expected. Excellent bus service from outside hotel to connecting point for bus to Pest or tram to Buda. Uk public transport could learn a lot from these guys! Staff were very friendly and helped a great deal with planning trips etc. Room was good, about what i'd expect for what we paid. Overall a great place to stay and a fantastic place to visit. Will stay at Korona again when we return to Budapest in future.
