“Great little hotel”

Very good location, near tube, buses, cinema complex and shopping centre. Good choice of bars and eating places. For the price of a city centre hotel, very good. Overall enjoyed hotel and the area.

“Hotel Thomas a place to go”

Since the reception I was impressed and also we hadn't any problems checking in. Everything was great. One of the room has a little bit problem with heating, it was a little cold like the other of our friends. The room was not so big, and the furniture modest.A little bit noise in one night, a bunch of idiots were singing, of course they were drunk :) Breakfast was not so outstanding, but I could eat enough. Not a variety but as I said before ...enough to be satisfied .

“Beware of hotels that allow pets”

The hotel is perfectly situated for easy access to the metro, sightseeing and shopping. This hotel is definately a tourist hotel. Nothing fancy, just your basic hotel room. The breakfast was filling, but after 10 days of the same thing....you get tired of it. The only complaint is the hotel allows pets and owners are not considerate. Dogs were left alone in the rooms and they barked and scratched the doors until the owners came back. The hotel staff was very helpful and did look in to the problem.

hotel situé pas très loin du centre ville: accueil correcte, chambre correcte, propre, bon lit : il manque juste un bon rideaux aux fenêtres pour masquer la lumière du jour, et les parois et vitres de la chambre sont un peu fines : on entend un peu ce qui se passe dans le couloir et dehors.. Petit déjeuner aussi correcte en quantité, même si les produits ne sont pas de grande qualité.

close to the metro in a quiet street,staff at reception friendly and helpful,we had a double room wich was ba sic but clean which for me is very important,the major downfall was the breakfast,which was appaling!and the woman serving very surly and unhelpful,the coffee was cold and horrible,and the choice of breakfast very poor,this let the hotel down as apart from the breakfast we enjoyed our stay at hotel thomas.

“Reasonable hotel with good metro access”

The staff did not seem particularly interested or engaged and breakfast service was bordering on poor. Having said that, the room was fine and the hotel was well placed for exploring the city

“A Little Noisey”

Room was fairly clean. Nothing fancy but certainly met 3 star expectations. Only problem was the walls were paper thin and you can hear everything from somone sneezing to their television. Location is pretty good as you can generally walk to several restaurants nearby and public transportation is very close.

“Lovely Staff”

The staff were incredibly helpful and spoke excellent English. The rooms were basic and quite comfortable but the curtains weren't large enough for the windows and the bathroom needed a refit. It is situated reasonably close to the centre of Budapest.

“ok if your hard of hearing”

Upon arriving at Hotel Thomas i tried to keep an open mind from the reviews id read on here. However, the staff on front desk were ok, greeted us and tried to help, even though nobody spoke much English, the restaurant staff were miserable and didnt say one word to us. The hotel is a distance from everywhere and we must of walked at least 30 miles in our 4 day stay due to its location. Also be sure to get a map off front desk and keep track of where you walk as it is VERY easy to get lost. The room was basic, 2 single beds that werent very comfy, the bathroom was filthy. hairs and pubic hair where found all over the floor. the shower had dirt all over it and was rubbish. i had to get my partner to hold it for me while i showered as it wouldnt stay in any position and kept swinging off its holder. on our last night a big bus full of what i assume to be students turned up. i have never heard so much noise in my life, the walls are that thin we could hear everything, and we were on 4th floor. I no its not the hotels fault for the students loudness but its an example of how noisy this hotel is. every night we were woken by dogs or people in the street shouting. which makes it difficult to say that this hotel is ok to get your head down, because of its location, it isnt! there are dogzs everywhere and because of its thin walls you can hear every bark.
