“Hotel bien situé et bien entretenu”
Personnel très sympathique, chambre propre et en bon état, très central.
“second stay”
this was my second stay at the erzsebet hotel and it was just as good as the first. the location is perfect for all the tourist sites and the staff are very helpfull and friendly. i've visited budapest five times now and when i make it six i'll be booking this hotel.
“An excellent place to stay in Budapest”
This hotel was excellent both for price and location. It is centrally placed, a short walk to a metro station, and to the Elizabeth Bridge. The staff were helpful and friendly, the breakfast buffet very good, and the room clean and comfortable. Recommended.
“Excellent location”
We stayed at the Erzsebet Hotel City Center beginning of April for a mid week break, the choice of hotel was as a result of previous reviews and its' location. We were not disappointed in any way, the location is excellent for sight seeing around the whole of the city, with transport links very nearby, ie underground and trams - 100 mtrs. The hotel itself was clean and tidy, well kept and inviting, the staff were all friendly and considerate, answering any questions we had, English was not a problem. We took breakfast at the hotel purely for conveniance at Eur6 pppn, it was a classic continental style with a good choice plus a hot buffet which, apart from the scrambled egg we didn't bother with as it wasn't to our taste but many other guests were tucking into it. There are cafes' nearby where breakfast could be bought as an option. The rooms were comfortable and well furnished the bed very comfortable and bathroom facilities well looked after, there is a mini bar and tv but no tea/coffee making facility in the room, all very adequate for the trip, and would have no hesitation at using the hotel again in the future. Certainly value for money for the sightseer.
“Excellent value for money”
Excellent central location, staff very friendly and helpful, room quiet although quite small, towels changed daily
“Hotel ERZSEBET CITY CENTER: Très proche du Danube et des lieux touristiques”
Un hotel particulièrement bien situé, proche du quartier piéton (restauration commerce), du Danube, des transports, des lieux touristiques.Pour nous c'était parfait et je le recommande vivement.
“convenient, friendly, modern, economically priced hotel in beautiful Budapest”
We found the hotel easy to find, the staff were polite, friendly and helpful no matter what the hour or enquiry. The rooms were blissfully air-conditioned in the summer's heat, and the bed wide and comfortable. The location is convenient for the short walk to the tram along the Danube, or the metro, or the main street for a snack or a purchase. There is a bus service that passes the front door, but we didn't use it - although we did have a travel card for unlimited public transport. The hotel was large but quiet, with a nice bar and nice looking restauarant, although we preferred to explore the city for eating out. We'd definitely recommend it, and when we can return to Budapest, we'd definitely try to stay there again. It was out first visit, and we found the city stunningly beautiful, friendly, cosmopolitan and affordable on a budget.
“Would definitely use this hotel again!”
Fanstastic central location, friendly staff and clean rooms with great showers. The complimentary buffet breakfast was great and they also cook eggs to order. Would definitely recommend this hotel.
“No hesitation in returning to this lovely hotel.”
From the moment of arrival until departure they could not do enough to provide what was wanted. Everyone spoke in English and was most helpful. The room was clean and the bathroom too. Maybe the chairs could be softer but that is minor and one does not sit in the room for long. The dining room was beautiful with lovely decor. Excellent choice for breakfast and no pessure to rush it either. Information about the area was provided immediately and everyone was very friendly indeed. For a central location hotel it was a good area and quiet too considering the traffic that used the roads nearby. Highly recommended.
