“we will be going back next year! Beautiful hotel! Beautiful area! Excellent facilities!”
My partner and i chose this hotel for the location when booking. After spending 10 days at The Balaton (the hungarian sea), we wanted to stay in a quiet area that was very close to the centre of budapest. This was the ideal hotel. On a little island in the middle of the danube! We were very impressed when we got to the hotel. Our room was clean. A very good size. The staff were friendly. The facilities were excellent although we didn't have time to try a lot at the hotel as we were busy sightseeing. The hotels restaurants are good value although there are ample quality restaurants in budapest. This hotel will exceed all of your expectations.

“Very relaxing”
The hotel is on an island about 3 miles from city centre. We used taxi's. Our daughter is spending 4 months working in Budapest and is staying at the hotel. The island is mainly parkland with a proper 5k running track around its edge. We both walked and cycled it. The thermal baths are free to hotel guests and very relaxing etc. Our room was a good size - the balcony is a bonus. Only downside was the quality of the breakfast - its much better with room service.

“One Of The Best Hotel Experiences Ever!!!!”
I travel every 2 months. Sometimes outside the country. I alway stay in hotels that are 3 stars are more. This place should be a five star. Everything was lovely: the best food, friendly and informative staff, lovely pools, spas and fitness area, lovely gardens, excellent rooms. Even the sounds at night from the outside animals is almost Jurrasic. The setting is superb. I can't wait to come back. This place will be one of my fondest memories of all time. If you can visit this place....do so.
“You Can't Fault This Hotel”
Superb location in acres of park land. Frequent bus (No. 26)service to the nearest tram line (No. 4/6) You can be in central Pest in 10 minutes. Excellent gym and the Spa facilities...well, they are out of this world! Pools and varying jets and temperatures to soothe away walking pains and assist with various ailments. Hottest was 38 degrees. A proper running track circumnavigates the island if you feel up to it. The only thing to warn about is the underpass that you have to walk through after you've got off the bus to get to the tram. It's full of dossers, smells and looks intimidating. This can be avoided by taking the 26 bus all the way to its final destination only 10 minutes longer which is fairly central and then changing.

“Very Impressed”
Located on the Island and a short distance from many Budapest attactions, this hotel is located in a very tranquil area in parkland. A Bus leaves from outside the hotel to the local metro station. There is a convienient jogging trail around the Island. But best of all is the Spa located in the hotel with its many pools, saunas and steam rooms. Breakfast suits eastern and western European tastes. The Wi-Fi service works very well and vouchers to use it are sold at a discount at Reception.
“Great hotel, very helpful staff”
Fantastic hotel, great sized room with usable balcony. Spa faciities very nice. Food good if slightly expensive. Staff all very helpful (and English-speaking, which is useful if your Hungarian is as basic as ours!).
“Very beautiful hotel on scenic quiet location”
This hotel was super. Located on St. Margaret Island, it is between the two main parts of the city. The island appears to be one large park, comprable in size and caliber to NYC's Central Park or London's Hyde Park. At the time of my visit, one of two lifts weren't working but that was the only issue. The room was very clean with an outstanding view. THe room furnishings were great. The only item lacking was the availability of an iron or same-day laundry for quick travellers. I would, and will, go back again.
