“The hotel was fair and close to public transportation”
My husband and I and our 14 y/o daughter shared a room with 3 single beds. The room was ok but very warm. We had to keep the windows open at night to keep the room cooled off enough to sleep well. We could hear noise from the hall all the time. The breakfast buffet was small as far as choice but got us ready to go for the day. The staff was friendly and spoke a good amount of English. For the price, I would recommend the hotel to a friend, but not to someone who had to stay in a 3 star or higher average hotel.
“hotel atlas”
bon hotel, proche centre ville. Simple mais bon rapport qualité prix
“Great except for the tour groups”
We were very happy with our hotel. It was simple but clean, and the free breakfast was a plus. It was also fairly quiet, though I imagine that floors closer to street level can be quite noisy. It was also very convenient-immediate access to public transportation. The only complaint I'd make is that it appears to be a magnet for tour groups, and most every day we'd be surrounded by rude and noisy European teenagers at breakfast. It's not a knock on the hotel, but be prepared to deal with large groups of unruly teens!
“Nice Hotel - Bad Location”
I would stay here again as it is close to the railway station - kelesti. However we were put off by the " down at heel" location it was in and some people might feel put off by the dirty streets and poorly maintained buildings around. It was close to a metro - the end of the road and the service and breakfast were excellent. For a new hotel though the finish left a little to be desired and we did have a problem with the toilet flush.
“Sleep in a back room”
2nd visit to this hotel so knew what to expect. Poor breakfast, expensive bar prices but very central location. Weekend guests can be rather noisy during the small hours. Also if possible request a room at the back of the hotel unless you want to be awake at 4.30am when the trolley buses start running.Very friendly staff will try to accommodate any requests.
“hôtel est loin du métro, 10à 15 mn de marche”
les produits de bains NE SONT toujours PAS fournir ,il faut demander à la réception, si non PAS de probleme majeur
“Cheap but functional”
The room was spare but the price was low. The hotel is not in the best or most fun part of town but it's an easy walk to the Blaha Lujza Square, where there are tram and subway stations. You don't keep your room key when you leave the building but hand it in at the front desk, then retrieve it when you return. This adds security but is a minor inconvenience.
“No-frills hotel”
This is a no-frills hotel so don't expect luxury. Everything was very basic but comfortable. The breakfast was very simple and it could have done with more choice, but it was OK. The hotel has few amenities nearby and the nice restaurants are a good walk away (or a metro ride away). The hotel restaurant does not serve lunch or dinner unless already reserved by tourist groups from abroad.
“Apart from the guests, this hotel is fine.”
The hotel itself is fine, just in need of a bit of an upgrade. The staff were friendly and helpful and the cooked breakfast was good. Unfortunately this hotel seems to be popular with people on bucks nights and boozy weekends, and consequently the hotel is noisy with drunken guests throughout the night, especially on Friday and Saturday. Certainly not ideal for families with young children. Overall fairly good value for money.
