Surly and unhelpful receptionist on arrival, cramped room for 2 people with limited storing/hanging space. Bedside lamps unsafe and could not be used. Decor uninspiring. No hotel information re breakfast or other services. Will not book this hotel again. Extremely disappointing but didnt let it affect our successful visit to the beautiful sights of Bruges, Ghent and Brussels.

The area is so close to everything and made things easier. The room I had, 203 at the other side of the building was having The heater faulty and the room wasn't clean at all. Flooring was dusty and full of long black hair and inside the safe was a rotten and smelly pack of salami. I have informed reception about it and all they offered were some blankets not even apologising. Really poor sleep.

Not a very good experience
Located on busy street, could hear noise in the room throughout the night. Room itself simple but ok, but my floor corridor had some construction with door openingsbarricaded off which gives off a certain vibe. Reception and breakfast area completely void of staff for 20 minutes in the morning, did not answer bell, tect or phone. Caused some confusion and irritation for our check out.

The bed was terrible. I am 5'11" and my feet were all out, not counting that the mattress was uncomfortable and the "queen" bed was made of two twin beds badly connected.

Good hotel within walking distance to the centre
The hotel is located a few minutes walk from the underground station, North railway station is also close, approximately 10 minutes walk. Receptionist was friendly and the room was comfortable and clean. Despite the room was facing the street it wasn't noisy and I slept well.

Very good stay. Excellent service! The lovely girl from the reception made sure we ware comfortable and not to hot in our room, ( since the air conditioner wasn’t working). Coffee or tea complementary for the guest. Very convenient location near to the transportation. On the way back to the airport we took regular bus 272 ( for 2.50 euros) it takes little bit longer about 40 minutes, but worth it if someone is on a budget. Very clean hotel simple, but clean, got everything you need. Walking distance to the main attraction.

Somewhat misleading, and very noisy
When I arrived at the hotel I was taken round the back to the “other building” which I soon realised is still very much being renovated as there were building materials everywhere. The room itself was nice enough though. There was nobody on reception is this building, and I think I was the only person in the entire building which made me feel rather uneasy. To top it off, I woke up at around midnight to the sound of doors being opened and closed along the corridor getting progressively closer to my room, and then my door was opened. It turned out to be a member of staff who was replacing towels and apparently “didn’t think anyone was on the system that night” so he just wandered into the room thinking it was empty. He then made me get up to ask for my name so he could check the system for the booking! Bearing in mind I was shown to this room by the reception staff on arrival so it was definitely where I was supposed to be staying. Anyway, safe to say I did not sleep much after that as the adrenaline of thinking someone was breaking into my room in the middle of the night left me rather awake. Also the streets around the hotel are super noisy at night, and the rubbish collection truck that came around at 5.30am was incredible noisy. So all in all I probably got around 3 hours sleep that night.

The bathroom is OK but I gave the following remark several times after previous stays. There is no space to put necessary cosmetics on the sink. A small shelf under the mirror for shaving utensils, toothpaste and a toothbrush is simply missing. Another item which ois missing : a small kettle for tea/coffee or at least a bottle of mineral water when entering the room late in the evening.

The hotel is very modern, the bed was comfortable and the staff was very helpful and kind. Our room was nice but it has very limited space. You can take the bus or the tram in front of the hotel and there is a train station close. Our difficulty was that it was 20 minutes away from main attractions and there were almost no alternatives to eat nearby.

Housekeeping wasn’t very consistent. Stayed for 4 nights and when they cleaned my room one night, they did not replace the towels. Had to go down to reception to get towels.

Nobody came to clean the room 2 days of the five that we stayed there, no communication with staff, not even toilet paper, the shower gets everything wet. Horrible!!!!

Disappointing stay
Check in very slow. Hotel said they would arrange taxi to airport to pick us up at 04.00. Waited for 15 minutes with no sign of taxi so went into street and flagged one down. Room clean and comfortable bed but very noisy from other rooms late at night into the early hours. Would not stay here again.

Literally one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed at. The first room I was was in a separate building in what appeared to be an attic. It had the worst smell. The Second room was at least in the main building. However when the window was open it smelled like sewer inside. The bed was also hard as a rock. Never again.
