“You need a car”

Hotel was fine if you're not there to see the city centre and need to be on the Woluwe side of the city and if you have a car. There is an underground car park which was the main appeal for me, 5 euros on departure.

“hôtel "la woluwe"”

Cela fait 3 fois que je séjourne dans cet hôtel, et j'y reviendrai. Tout d'abord l'accès y est facile en voiture. Le quartier est très calme, les chambres sont propres et très peu bruyantes. Même si le parking de l'hôtel est payant, on peut stationner gratuitement dans la rue. Le petit déjeuner est très complet et copieux. C'est un très bon rapport-qualité-prix pour un hôtel bruxellois.

“Excellent hotel on the outskirts of Brussels”

I would most definitely recommend this hotel as long as you don't need to be in the centre of Brussels. We booked this hotel following a flight change which meant that we wouldn't be arriving in Belgium until late on a Sunday evening and it offered a complimentary airport shuttle. The bus was at the airport when we arrived and took us to the hotel in a few minutes. The hotel is situated next to a University in it's own grounds. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable. A welcoming bar with, for a hotel, good prices and free snacks; the usual bar nibbles and a towering plate of rolls with a wide variety of fillings. All staff were couteous and helpful. Unfortunately we misread the shuttle bus times in the morning but the metro was only a short, 5 minute, walk from the hotel which took us into the centre of Brussels where we could catch the train on to Bruges.

“Nice Hotel, Isolated location”

This is a nice clean hotel. Service was good. Staff is fluent in English. The breakfast buffet included scrambled eggs, bacon (Saturday it was close to raw, Sunday it was properly cooked), sausage, an assortment of bread and rolls, cereal, fruit and juice. My room was good size, clean and very comfortable. There is a charge for the wireless internet connections so I did not log on. If you want to go site seeing plan to drive or take public transportation. Nothing, including restaurants, is within walking distance. Be careful about directions from the hotel staff. While they were all very friendly their directions were less than clear. On my own I made it to the Museum of Art and History and from there to the center city and back to the hotel. Directions from the staff could not get me to the train station. One staff member described the location as "isolated" but it is near the campus of UCL, a university and a hospital.

“Nice”

Expensive, but so is everything else in Brussels. Seemed very new. Staff was nice. Food was good. Good location, right next to UCL and shopping nearby. Good shuttle service to airport.

“Best weekend for a long time”

We met the family here as a birthday surprise for my wife. All of us were very impressed. Food in the hotel restaurant was superb and service was very good. There is free shuttle to and from the airport and a secure garage if like us you arrive by car.

“Very nice”

Very nice hotel. Great location if you have a car. Quiet location. We visiting family so it is great for us but if you intent to visit Brussels as a tourist, this is not for you. The service is great. Staff is very friendly and have accomodate all our requests. We stayed there a few time and will again.
