Recently expanded and much-modernised, Zaventem Airport is a major international route-hub. There are five levels of shops, bars and facilities, including a viewing gallery on level four. The Airport City Express shuttle train provides a regular service from Brussels’ three central stations (a 15–25-minute journey). Flights also operate from Charleroi Airport (Brussels South), 55 kilometres from the city centre.
