“Enjoyable relaxing break”
Our first visit to Bruges and we have returned home thoroughly relaxed and with thoughts of planning another visit. The hotel was in an excellent position and superb quality with substantial breakfasts. The market place was like a scene out of a picture postcard and all the quaint shops and various types of eating places were just down the streets just off the market place. We had an enjoyable boat ride on the canals and felt very safe wherever we walked and we did a lot of walking. We particularly enjoyed our beer in the evening at Cookies and the hospitality afforded to us by all the locals.
“One of Europe's best hotels!”
We could not have been happier with this hotel. It is exquisitie, clean, and conveniently located. The staff was exceptionally professional, friendly and helpful. My husband is an architect and was extremely impressed with the design, decor and attention to detail. We loved Bruges and intend to return and can't imagine staying anywhere else than this hotel. The location is perfect for getting to all the main tourist sites, as well as the "off-the-beaten-track" areas of this beautiful city. We highly recommend this hotel!

Modern hotel in centre of Bruges, resonably priced would stay there again!
“Perfect for a romantic hotel in beautiful Bruges !”
A fantastic hotel !! Perfect location and grand standard ! The rooms have got really high ceiling and it's got a luxury taste to it. The beds are really big, although they are really 2 beds in one, but they are very comfortable. The shower is lovely, although a bit messy because the water can go everywhere, but no big deal. The breakfast is lovely, with so much choice and served until 10.30 ! Would definitly go back to this hotel next time.
“Visit to Bruges”
Always wanted to see Bruges and 3 days is about right. The Casselbergh Hotel is exactly right. Central, quiet, efficient, well run, nice staff. Try not to pay the advertised rates. Get a deal from Expedia for example. Lots to see, plenty of places to eat. If you are a Brit you need to remember that pound has shrunk in value so prices seem a bit steep. Rule of thumb "if that worries you, don't go!" Thoroughly recomment Bruges as a place to see and the Casselbergh as the base. If you go by car, driving in Buges is not for the faint hearted. The Hotel Car Park is the best option but you need parking sensors!
“Very impressed”
The hotel comprises three joined up buildings, we were in the oldest and traditional part. This area was beautifully decorated and extremely comfortable with all one needs for a few days break. An added bonus was the excellent breakfast included in the price and the proximity of the hotel to the centre of Bruges.
“We made a great choice!”
We went to Bruges with a group of friends, and we all stayed in different places, meeting up for means or drinks, but having our own time out and independence. Coming back to 'our hotel' was always a real pleasure. Our room was fine and so was the canal view [I am not sure if rooms at the far end of the corridor would have an unobscured view of the water]. However we were satisfied. The position of the hotel could not really have been bettered as one is so close to the main square, we met up with our friends 'beneath the belfry' and went from there.
“Would definitely go back”
Amazing location, spacious rooms. The view (our room was "with a view") on the canal is OK, but not outstanding since the hotel itself is not directly on the canal. Good breakfast, beautiful lounges in the lobby area.
“Good location High Quality Hotel in Bruges”
This is an excellent hotel in a good central location in Bruges, a very short walk to the main attractions. The standard of the room and hotel in general was very good. The buffet breakfast was excellent. The only complaint was that the staff were not particularly attentive.
