Room clean though had a musty odor; spider webs on furniture; looked like hadn't been updated for many years; the pool was closed and was green with algea growing throughout. Breakfast not like pictured. Friends stayed at hotel across the street (nice hotel) for almost same price.
The staff at this hotel are very friendly. The rooms are clean and for the price great value. Only draw back is you are very limited on places to eat a good meal ... Cracker Barrel is the closest none fast food place.
My daughter and I were on our way home to northern Ohio from her college orientation in Alabama. We had been driving for many hours, some of which were spent sitting in rush hour traffic in Nashville. By the time we got to Hampton Inn, it was after 9 pm, and we were exhausted. The woman behind the desk greeted us warmly, and checked us in quickly and gave us a list of restaurants that delivered. The hotel itself was lovely! Pristine, and very nicely decorated with beautiful black and white photographs among other things. The room itself was also pristine, easy to get to, and quiet. The complimentary breakfast was delish and varied, the coffee was amazing! And everyone that worked there was friendly. A much appreciated port in a storm! We'll be driving back and forth to and from my daughters college over the next four years and we will stay here as our little haven of comfort every time! Thank you thank you!!
