“Modern Hotel”
Good connections with centre Stockholm.
“Mostly a great place to stay”
The location of this hotel was very convenient. The breakfast buffet was quite good. The subway stop was literally a block away. I was impressed by the comfort, cleanliness, and decor of the room. However, there happened to be a large number of annoying noisy children in town for a sports event and the ice machines were turned off for half of our stay due to the presence of said children. However, I would stay here again.

I absolutely loved my stay here. there is a metro stop not too far away, the breakfast is amazing, The hotel staff was all really nice, it was reasonable priced, and the room was nice. I did not want to leave. The only thing is that it is not right in downtown stockholm but the public transit metro thing runs all night so it worked really well. Loved it!

“Scandic Hotel Alvik Sweden”
Second time we've stayed here and still impressed. It's minutes away from my elderly aunt, opposite a supermarket which is open 7 days a week, right on the tram line, and train line into Stockholm, and 30 minutes from Arlanda airport. We've stayed winter and autumn and the service and standard have been excellent both times - yes, we'd certainly stay again.

Très bonnes prestation, Prix intéressant, situé à proximité d'une station de métro rapide qui permet de se rendre à Stockolm en laissant sa voiture dans un garage fermé. Buffet Breakfast varié et très bien fourni. Un bilan très positif. Merci Expedia
“One of Europe's Best 3-Star Hotels!”
Having lived and worked in Europe for nearly 2 years, I have traveled quite extensively and have stayed at numerous 3-star hotels. My expectations at first were that the 3-star hotels in Europe would be similar to the 3-star hotels in the US--which is not the case. However, when I stayed at the Scandic, I was COMPLETELY blown away by how incredible this hotel was. First off, it's located right outside of Stockholm but is easily accessible by train (the Alvik train station is about a 2 minute walk from the hotel). Second, the hotel staff was incredibly friendly and everyone spoke very good English (which is the case for most people in Stockholm--friendly and English spoken). Third, the rooms were spacious, had free cable TV, comfortable beds, were very clean, and room service did an outstanding job every morning remaking and cleaning the room. Finally, saving the best for last, the hotel's breakfast is ridiculous. The spread was bigger and better than any I've ever seen at a 3-star hotel (comparable to 4 and 5 star hotels, actually). I would absolutely stay here again were I to visit Stockholm once more and HIGHLY recommend this to anyone looking for great quality for a great price (considering the fact that Scandinavia is the most expensive place in the World).
