“good value in Brockville”
Although a slightly dated hotel, it was in good shape and very clean, and quiet. Easily reached from the 401 and convenient to the downtown, with an attached restaurant with limited breakfast choices but sufficient for the average traveller. Would stay there again. For more food choices, downtown Brockville has a great selection of restaurants on the "old highway 2" main street.
“Great Hotel but needs better temperature controls.”
Everyone was very professional and pleasant. The room was clean and comfortable and the pillows were great. The problem was inability to control the room temperature! Our first room was very hot--we had an alarm clock that could measure the temperature. Our room was in excess of 95 degrees--it was still rising when we were moved to another room. The second room was much better, but still over 80 degrees. The windows open, but it doesn't help. I don't know if there is a general heating problem throughout the hotel, but we are used to sleeping in a room that is 55 to 60 degrees, so it was difficult to sleep well. If you like heat--you've got it. The breakfast was great. I'd like to go back except for the heat.
“Will be back same weekend in July 2012”
This was the second consecutive year staying in this hotel. We also recommended three other families to stay at this hotel. They were very accomodating to set us up on the same floor with rooms very close togwther. All four families willbe booking the hotel again same weekend in July2012.
“Good Basic Services”
No frills hotel with clean rooms and friendly staff.
“Could do better”
Check-in was prompt and uneventful. The hotel had a musty, mildewy odour with a chemically overlay about it. This may be the result of being relatively close to the St. Lawrence River. There were food crumbs in the arm chair in the room. The dining room was not open Sunday evening and in the morning, only had a light breakfast available (e.g. juice, coffee, toast, etc.) Other restaurants nearby were limited to a fast-food restaurant. The fitness centre was very good.

Only thing positive for me about this hotel was that the hotel was clean. Beside of that all the hotel was smelling humidity, carpets was wet. Celling was dammaged in my room. Curtains was broken. Every time i was taking a bath the fire alarm start. I did not appreciate my stay at this hotel.
