“Brand nnew hotel hits the spot despite a few teething issues”
This is a brand new hotel in Bristol (I stayed on its second day of opening) and its a great addition to the city. Yes, there were a few teething issues (my first room had a problem with the bathroom tap) but I was swiftly upgraded to an amzing room overlooking the harbour. The rooms are beautifully furnished and the bed was possibly the most comfortable I have ever slept in. Added to this, the staff were attentive and happy to assist. I got a brilliant rate on this site (probably as the hotel is so new), but I would recommend anyone to stay here and grab a bargain while they can 'cos the rates are bound to go up once this hotel gets established. The hotel is in a fantastic location for a weekend break, opposite the Hippodrome Theatre and within walking distance of Cabot Circus and West Street.
“Convenient location and great service”
This was a lovely hotel for those on a moderate budget. It was convenient to access the centre of town and the waterside. The service was really good and breakfast was excellent.
“Best hotel in Bristol for comfort and cost”
I lived in Bristol for 4 years and always struggled for a reasonable hotel for visitors to stay, Radisson Blu is definitely the best. Spacious, clean modern rooms with new tiled bathrooms. Mega comfy bed, quiet and a nice view of the waterfront from the 10th floor.
“Perfect location”
Great location for all the Bristol sights. The only draw back is the lifts so it takes a long time to get out of the building! Great breakfast and friendly service.
“Excellent hotel in a nice city”
This is a great hotel, perfectly situated within easy walking distance of pretty much anything you want to do in Bristol city centre! The hotel service was good. The staff were friendly and efficient and the room was comfortable, spacious, modern, clean and well-appointed. We didn't eat in the hotel because there are plenty of nearby restaurants of all types. However, I can highly recommend the hotel breakfast!

“Great”
Great stay, well above expectations. Even their standard double room was HUGE, very comfortable and more than what you pay for. Good service, great buffet breakfast and no complaints apart from walls in rooms seem to be a bit thin sound wise and we only seemed to find two lifts. With like 17 floors, a few more lifts would have been helpful. But still, perfect two nights.
“Will certainly be going back”
Don't hesitate to use this hotel! Recently opened, the decor is great and the location is just right for the city centre. View out of our bedroom was mainly of the building opposite but then we didn't go away to look out of a window! Rooms were large and comfortable and at this price, you cannot go wrong. Stop looking for other hotels now!
“Good Blu room with a view”
Entrance is small, but we found it OK. Everything was good about the room, the view, the staff were good and the breakfast was very nice. The tea was not brilliant, but that is only a minor quibble. Certainly I would go there again, it was quiet, clean and comfortable. The only tiny minus was that the lifts seemed to be very slow, and small as well. However, do not let that put you off, it was a good hotel and I would certainly use it again. Another tiny quibble was the shower in the bath. It was not at all easy to find out how to turn the water on for a shower. I hate standing there trying to work out how to turn a tap on allowing warm water to come out of the shower! Sounds easy, but many modern hotels and loos seem to make it really difficult. Overall, very good and one to use again.
“Will deff book again!”
The hotel is a brilliant hotel, very central and close to Cabot Circus, the Hippodrome, Carling Academy, City Hall and only a 15-minute walk from the main train station (Temple Meads). Staff are friendly, complimentary mini-bar (soft drinks), bathroom huge and modern, views over the 'Centre'. Nespresso coffee machine in room (decaf only though), big LCD TV, nice bed, comfy.
