“Nice hotel”

I was a bit wary of staying at a Holiday Inn, especially because the cost was so low. However, I was very pleasantly surprised. The hotel was very nice and the room was great. I would certainly recommend this hotel.

“Definately going back”

My wife and I stayed at this hotel one weekend and must say it was a very comfortable stay. Good view from bedroom window overlooking lake and fountain - Very quiet location no traffic noise - lovely grounds - Very polite and courteous staff. Easy to find and not far from Bristol centre. Which is well worth a visit. Will definately go back and stay there again.

“Do not eat in the Restaurant”

What a disappointment! Hotel, facilities, view and grounds all very nice but the Restaurant was appalling. The service was rude and quite honestly disgraceful. The food was not much better. What a shame, I would recommend the hotel but don't eat there!

“Terrible night's sleep”

Our lower floor room smelled damp. The radiator didn't work although the notices in the room indicated it should. We had to enquire about it and were only then told to turn up the air conditioning to max. My bed actually felt damp and I ended up curled in the duvet unable to stretch out and still be covered. i didn't ask to be moved because by the time I found this out my husband was already asleep in out twin bedded room. i reported this when we left (we were there only one night) and did not ask for any reduction in price and none was offered. The corridor also smelled of cigarette smoke although this was not apparent in the room. It is supposed to be a 4 star hotel but wi-fi was £5 an hour which i think is unreasonable.
