“Nice stay at Super 8”

The room was ready and waiting when we arrived at the hotel, so it was only a couple minutes at the counter to check in. The girl there was courteous and attentive. It was nice to have the car parked right at the door, as we had several items of luggage to carry in. The room was clean and neat as a pin. When we settled in for the night, the beds were comfortable and we barely heard anyone or anything outside the room at all. Having a coffee pot and microwave and fridge in the room was great. (It actually seemed like we had a brand new coffee maker brought in on the second morning!) We were able to get our rest and enjoyed our trip in to visit our family in the area. Next trip, we plan on a longer stay, and Super 8 will definitely be a consideration in choosing a hotel. Thank you Super 8, Bridgeport, for your excellent hospitality!

“Good Budget Deal”

I can't judge this hotel hardless because it is a Super 8. The room was clean, but all the repairs were noticable. At least they attempted to repair problems, but quality repairs mean that it should not be noticable. Bridgeport is a beautiful place, and there's plenty of malls and eateries in the area. It's not an one-horse town.

“All great except for an odd smell”

We spent 2 nights at this Super 8 and we were very happy with everything except a funny smell, which I suspect was an attempt to cover up smoke. Oddly, someone who had been there the previous week reported the rooms smelled great! When we returned for second night we asked for a better smelling room and it wasn't a lot different. We let it pass as everything else was great- right across from our door was a great bar/restaurant and Outback Steakhouse and Burger King also within walking distance. Breakfast better than most, cookies, juice, coffee available 24/7. Also close to two major highways.

“Very Convenient”

Basically comfortable, and convenient to interstate, shopping and resturants.

“Average hotel”

Clean room. Nothing impressive...average hotel room.

“Hotel in good location”

I choose this hotel because of its great location, right off the highway. I also wanted free wifi so that I could work from my room. It was obvious that the room had been renovated, but it was already showing signs of some serious wear and tear. Immediately after entering the room, there were large stains on the carpet at the entrance. To the right of the door, there was an armchair with a footstool. The footstool had some nasty stains on it. There was a large, black desk chair which was splattered in white paint. It appeared that the person painting the room had neglected to cover the chair. The staff at this hotel, however, were very pleasant and professional. I completed the satisfaction card and did hand it in at reception upon check out. I do hope they do something about the condition of my room. The breakfast room was clean and bright. The breakfast was simple but adequate, and was included in the room rate. Unfortunately, the condition of my room would probably stop me from staying here again.

“Needs work”

Room had a musty smell. While the sheets & towels were clean, the floor was only about halfway vacuumed...there was lint all over the place on the floor.

“Saharah Desert”

Unable to controll heat in the room it was all or nothing. Heating system lacking maintanence.

“April 2012”

This hotel is getting tired.It requires a good clean up.Carpets were dirty,outside corridors & stairways were muddy & needed pressure washing.Bathtub was black & one of the washcloths was so filthy I wouldn't use it to clean my car.We have stayed here several times in the past but will not stay here again.

“Not Impressed”

The hotel was very dingy and dirty. The beds were really hard and uncomfortable. Not good parking to check in had to go all the way to the back or to the side.
