Now top of list. Choices for parking. Helpful staff. Our studio room was prettier than the pictures on Internet. Extra pillows without asking for them. Fire place. Whirlpool bath. Wished we had more time to spend there.
Beautiful hotel with ski-in/ski-out capability, and a sky valet to set your skis out in the morning and lock them up at night. The staff is supremely courteous, friendly and efficient. The shuttle to downtown is excellent.
The first time we stayed there over New Year's, we loved the one-bedroom apartment with a king-sized bed, balcony and a fireplace. Everything was clean and comfortable; and the full kitchen was well designed with large appliances. However, for our second visit, we stayed in a "studio" and were disappointed.
This studio was a real bust for us: the QUEEN-sized bed (no king here) was crammed in an alcove with barely enough room to sidestep by and get into it. It was so tight and the bed frame has such sharp corners, that i took a dime-sized chunk of skin off of my left shin. The remainder of the furniture is the same size as in the larger apartment's living room and doesn't fit. Walking around is constrained. Nice balcony, though.

Due to some maintenance on the roof, I was upgraded from a single room to a suite. I was pleased. The room décor was very nice. It was clean and modern.
I was a little disappointed that the bar was not open while I was there, but understand that during that time of year (May) everything in town is shut down.
My room overlooked the quaint town and I enjoyed the sound of the stream off my small porch.
We had a larger condo room in the Village. It was notably clean and very nice. The only drawback was the bed which was rather uncomfortable. We were there off-season (mid-May) so the rate was quite reasonable relative to other lodging in the area.
Bottom line - we were very pleased with the accommodations; rental condos are always a crapshoot especially regarding the cleanliness and freshness of the place and on that important score we were completely satisfied.
We absolutely loved BlueSky! We stayed in room 402, a one bedroom suite. We were shocked at how roomy it was. It had 2 luxurious bathrooms, a master bedroom, and a den with privacy doors. Both the couches in the den and family room had pull out beds. This room was perfect for our family of four. The kids loved the heated pool, arcade, and free DVDs. My wife and I loved the modern kitchen, the hot tubs, the mountain view from the porch, and the close proximity to the downtown area. The hotel staff including the shuttle drivers were fantastic. We had such a great time and will be back.
The location was perfect. Gondola and ski lift steps away from room. Very convenient. It was nice to have a kitchen and washer and dryer. The gondoal was free and you could ride it into town. Only complaint would be the room was hot. The heat.was off but.still warm. We opened the windows and that seemed to help. It was a great place to take the family. I would highly recommend, especially for short stays. The convenience allows you to ski more if your time is limited.
I was one of a few guests for the off season and that was the nice part, the hotel was extremely quiet. One of the places in Breckenridge I've always been curious about, since it's location is rather epic sitting up at 10,000+ feet overlooking the ski resort. The lodge is rustic and comfortable but it is not overly upscale and that's nice, given it's mountain top location. The room is fairly well appointed and the bed was very nice but the pillows were a bit thick, I prefer thinner pillows. There was a fireplace but there was no reason to use it, which leads me to my complaint. While only 50 degrees outside, the inside of the hotel is almost a stifling temp. For 2 days I could never be truly comfortable, especially at night. There are large windows but none of them open and being in the mountains, there's really no need for A/C, so you have no options to cool off. My only other complaint would be the bathroom which was very small but I'm guessing little can be done to change that, it is what it is. You will not get 2 people in there at once getting ready, you will need to take turns. I'm referring to a mountain view king size bed room. I haven't seen other bathrooms in the hotel but I'd imagine they're pretty close to the same. No vanity to place items, just a sink top, which became a juggling act of keeping things standing up and not falling into the sink. Staff is good and friendly, nice people. I didn't try the restaurant, I don't think it was open.
More than a million people visit Breckenridge Ski Resort each year, making it one of North America’s busiest ski areas. In the town of Breckenridge, a large number of restaurants, bars, and hotels offer respite from the slopes. Summertime offers hiking, fishing, and boating on Dillon Reservoir, a popular nearby lake.
