“In the middle of the lovely old town”
This was a last minute decision, as our other accommodation fell-through. The location was excellent, a very short walk to the fantastic old-town, with lots of restaurants, pubs, cobbled streets, and some nice things to see. Also close to a major bus stop. A 15 minute cab to the airport.
“Have now been twice - wouldn't hesitate to recommend”
The first time I was very pleased with my trip. The second trip I had a terrific view overlooking the Cathedral, the Castle and the Danube. V convenient for the Stare Mesto (Old Town) and right next to the new bridge and it's UFO Restaurant. Will definitely be back.
“Resonable prices and the Danube across the street!”
Clean room, attentive staff, and very nice restaurant inside the hotel. Easy to walk to restaurants and shops in "Old Town." The location is great and, if needed, the American Embassy is just steps away.

“A fine place to stay in Bratislava”
A very good position, on the banks of the Danube and the edge of the Old Town. Staff friendly and with good English spoken. Be careful with Taxis - we were severely overcharged by an official Taxi we picked up at the Airport for the 10 - 15 minute run to the hotel - even though there was an official looking "meter". The hotel offered an official "limousine" service at half the price - and in more comfort. The breakfast spread (self service) was very good, but rather expensive.
“Prime Location in Bratislava”
The Park Inn Danube in Bratislava is the perfect location for touring the Old Town of Bratislava. It's only a short taxi ride from the airport (which costs no more than €20.00) and is conveniently located near St. Martin's Cathedral and the main business district. The location really is prime with this hotel. The hotel itself was better than expected, although one can see the age of the furnishings in the hotel. Some of the carpet and fixtures were worn and could be replaced or updated though none of this impacted the stay. It was better than most hotels I've seen in Europe and extremely reasonable for the rates and location. The facilities in the hotel were very good and the hotel staff were extremely helpful and spoke good English. If you are going to Bratislava, I would highly recommend the Park Inn Danube if you are looking for a mid-grade hotel. It was everything that I expected and perhaps some even more than that. The only downside was that some furnishings were worn and could be replaced or updated -- basically what once was a higher-grade hotel has now become a mid-grade one, in my opinion; but I have no qualms about recommending this hotel to visitors to Bratislava.
“On the Danube”
Hotel is located in a perfect spot in Bratislava. Rooms were somewhat tight but not bad. If you are staying in Bratislava, I would recommend this hotel based on its location and based on the fact that it has a cut above other hotels in the area.
“Great Location, But Doesn't Live Up To It's Billing”
The best thing about the hotel was it's location, just a minutes walk from the old town, and after asking to change rooms, we had lovely views of the Danube. The hotel was clean and the lobby lived up to it's 4 star status, but the decor is a bit dated and we were made to feel like we were staying at top 5 Star Hotel, as we were just stared at as we went in and out of the hotel, no pleasantries at all! We were also told when booking the hotel that the fitness/health centre would re-open January, but upon arrival it was now March! All in all I would reccomend it as a place to stay as there were no particular problems and it's location was great, but it doesn't warrant it's reputation or prices!
“VERY GOOD HOTEL”
VERY MODERN HOTEL,STAFF FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL.EXCELLENT LOCATION IN OLD TOWN-LOTS OF BARS AND RESTAURANTS LITERALLY A COUPLE OF MINUTES FROM HOTEL. 2 BAD POINTS-UNABLE TO TURN HEATING OFF IN ROOM -VERY HOT and DO NOT HAVE BREAKFAST IN HOTEL FOOD OK BUT 18 EUROS WHEN YOU CAN WALK FEW YARDS AND GET GOOD BREAKY FOR UNDER 10 EUROS
