"Highly recommended on budget who don't want hostel"
The staff were very helpful and concerned about making my stay pleasant and easy. They rung me the night before I left (so were ringing internationally) to make sure that everything was okay and even offered to pick me up from the airport. I was able to get into my room early thanks to the young man who came and met me near the apartment. He said I could get in now if I didn't mind him cleaning the room around me - I'd just been travelling for 16+ hours and had been awake for 20+ hours so I appreciated being able to get into the apartment as soon as possible.
The room is basic but very comfortable for the price. Shower is good and hot. Everything was very clean. There are basic cooking facilities and a fridge. The is a small supermarket next door which is handy for basics such as shower gel, beer etc. but watch out for the moody staff who seem to hate foreigners (or maybe just me).
Very good for the price - would be great for students or couples on a budget who don't want to stay in dormitories. It's also well within walking distance of the Old Town (about 7 minutes).
This is a much better looking hostel than I have ever been to before. It is pretty much someone's room/flat being rented. The room had one massive bed, two single beds and a medium sized bed (including a sofa bed), a kitchen, toilet and a sitting room. The actual building looks run down and scary if you are a family but once you enter the flat it is actually very nice. I would recommend it for people that are there for stag do's and other reasons like that. It is close to the old town and other parts of Bratislava. In general though, when I went in January the place was very quiet.
