“Happy relaxing times at the Woolley Grange.”

I booked a long weekend away for my husband and I, plus our one year old son. I also booked for our friends who have one year old twins. The hotel described itself as family friendly but I wasn't sure how relaxing the weekend would be for us all. We arrived at the hotel and were impressed immediately. The hotel is huge and inside it is designed in a comfortable country house style. The staff gave us a warm welcome. Our bedroom was called West Gable and had a small seating area and a second large room which was the bathroom but was large enough to take the travel cot, a chaise longue, dressing table as well as the usual amenities so we all got a good nights sleep. It was absolutely perfect! The hotel provide food for children which they are happy to mash, puree etc. Mealtimes therefore are very relaxed and enjoyable. There is a lovely creche which is friendly, clean and well equipped. The spa facilities are amazing I had a much needed massage. In the evening the hotel arranged a babysitter who came to sit in our room while we had a first class dinner downstairs and some much needed adult time. In summary our stay at the Woolley Grange was fantastic.Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. The hotel has got the balance completely right all the amenities for babies/children but a piece of heaven for adults too. We will definitely be back but for at least a week!!
