Staff service

When we checked in, the hotel was no power due to the storm hit around the area. However, the staff at the reception was very kind and took care of our check-in.

Old hotel seemed a bit shady

Posted 29-Aug-2014 on Hotels.com
Stayed here for our trip to Yellowstone, it's on the darker outer edge of town across from a railway depot. It's dark around that area and the trains will wake you up at night. Some of the hotel patrons seemed shady and often stared on the other hand the owners seemed kind and responsive when you talk to them. Room had great amenities including free wifi, fridge, microwave but it was also really old and in need of renovation. In all this is an ok budget location, not as nice as motel 6 but had extra features.

Can you image you sleep on the railway?

Posted 26-Aug-2014
Near the railway, noisy and can't sleep well. The curtain is made by a layer of white paper...It can't block the light comes from outside in the night. Plus the noise of train, All these made me almost can't sleep all night. If you want to experience the feeling of sleeping beside the railway track, this should be a good place....No breakfast, No coffee. The only good thing is that this motel is only 50 miles away from the yellostone NP

Manager was extremely friendly ansd helpful. New sink was NOT usable. Clogged and would not drain at all. I brushed my teeth over bathtub! A used wash cloth was draped over shower head. Not a goo experience. No extra tolit tissue. Lots of trains in use during night.

Old hotel

Posted 11-Aug-2014
Pros: Nice staff
Cons: Update the shower. Larger TV
Location: Montana's Rib and Chop House. Just go, eat there and be happy. Have the Ribeye and die happy!
The shower was an example of what happens with age and neglect. The shower head was clogged with hard water deposits giving not so much a shower as a power wash from the remaining unclogged holes in the head. However, the bed sheets were clean, the AC worked well and the staff was pleasant. I won't stay there again, but it did serve the purpose of a clean place to sleep and while not perfect, the shower did provide an opportunity to wash off the road dust. Not the end of the world. It's not the Hilton, but it was OK.

Sadly....overpriced!

Posted 15-Jul-2014 on Hotels.com
The people were nice, but we were definitely overcharged. We paid $95.00 for 2 queens. While the rooms are actually tidy and clean, it is pretty run down. It's right across the street from a working train tracks and without the a/c unit running, it would have been way too loud. The TV was old and little. No breakfast for that price either. It wasn't a horrible stay, but I would suggest finding something else.

Better than expected

Good customer service. Pretty sure they "close" at 10:00 but very courteous at 10:30 when we got there. Shower door replaced with curtain but did have issues with bathroom floor. Bed was hard but watched them replacing some of the beds so they are obviously making improvements.
