Can you image you sleep on the railway?Posted 26-Aug-2014
Near the railway, noisy and can't sleep well. The curtain is made by a layer of white paper...It can't block the light comes from outside in the night. Plus the noise of train, All these made me almost can't sleep all night. If you want to experience the feeling of sleeping beside the railway track, this should be a good place....No breakfast, No coffee. The only good thing is that this motel is only 50 miles away from the yellostone NP

Old hotelPosted 11-Aug-2014
Pros: Nice staff
Cons: Update the shower. Larger TV
Location: Montana's Rib and Chop House. Just go, eat there and be happy. Have the Ribeye and die happy!
The shower was an example of what happens with age and neglect. The shower head was clogged with hard water deposits giving not so much a shower as a power wash from the remaining unclogged holes in the head. However, the bed sheets were clean, the AC worked well and the staff was pleasant. I won't stay there again, but it did serve the purpose of a clean place to sleep and while not perfect, the shower did provide an opportunity to wash off the road dust. Not the end of the world. It's not the Hilton, but it was OK.

More of a residential motel than a travelers inn.Posted 22-Jun-2014
Cons: Description of facilities online.
Location: Located in older part of town. Nothing nearby.
Adequate at best for a one-time stay. Not the best part of town, nothing except tea and coffee in the morning. Very thin walls. Small pillows. Bathroom clean. Not very good for a family stay.

Cheap but still not worth it.Posted 16-Jun-2014
Pros: Manager was very friendly & obliging.
Cons: Just about everything else.
This is an older motel that's fallen on hard times. The manager told us that new ownership has plans in the works for refurbishing soon - it could become a decent budget option, but don't book until then.

InterestingPosted 15-May-2014 on Hotels.com
Showed up late, called after hours number a few times before someone answered. He appeared to be in pajamas and previously sleeping. He was very friendly and apologetic. Exterior of hotel was degraded but being remodeled. Room was massive but bathroom was small. Shower door was broken. Found ladies pants on the floor under the bed. Woke up to construction workers.

Cons: Tear it down and start over
Location: Nothing to close....but downtown not far
We booked this motel though that is a better term than it deserves ....dive is more the description we would use .....we arrived to find no one manning the desk , a number was provided but after calling many times we got no response I did leave a message , the note said " will return in 30 min so we left to go eat dinner 1 hour later we returned and still no one was at the front desk...another 15 min if waiting and a truck pulls up parking crooked in the stall a man steps out of the passengers side stumbles to the front desk asks us what we want , though it was hard to understand most of it.....he was so intoxicated he could barely use the computer to check us in..... we finally got our room key and headed to our room, upon opening the door we were immediately struck by a strong smell of urine coming from the bathroom, searching we could not find the source, a further examination of the room revealed a very dirty rug with spots of unknown origin , the room was cold damp and smelly, opening the windows helped but did not solve the issue....the bed was too soft, the pillows lumpy .....the noises from the outside penetrated the walls , the train tracks across the street would rumble to life every couple hours sleep was not going to happen

Country Motor Inn-Livingston, MT 814 East Park St.Posted 2-Oct-2013 on Hotels.com
Your picture of the "Country Motor Inn" on your hotel.com site does not reflect what the real "Inn" looks like. This is a very rundown "Motor Inn" and next to a railway track where a train was parked all night and puffing (letting steam off from its engines). Needless to say, my husband and I did not sleep all night - therefore being exhausted for the 14 hours drive we had to do that day. I highly suggest that you take this Country Motor Inn on 814 East Park Street in Livingston, Montana "OFF YOUR LIST. I rate this Inn as a 1 (and I am generous). This "Country Inn" was overpriced.
