“Pleasantly Surprised”

After reading other reviews of this hotel we were skeptical but other hotels in the area didn't seem to have much better reviews so chose the Days Inn based on the price. I had a reserved a room for my wife and one for my parents - my dad almost cancelled because of the other reviews. However when we arrived we were pleasently surprised. The people at the front desk were friendly and everything was as requested. The hotel was in the process of being remodeled, we had one old and one new room, both rooms were spacious and clean. We were quite happy them. The continental breakfast was fine for being free, juice, coffee, tea, cereal and a few other items. We were happy with hotel and would stay there again.

“Great Deal for the Price”

This hotel is perfect if traveling on a budget. For a low cost compared to the other big hotel chains it was a great deal. It included free breakfast, pool, and is very convenient to all the attractions of Cave City, KY. The accomodations of the room were reasonable for the price. No complaints here.

“Convenient and economical”

See to locate and within a mile, you have petrol pumps, restaurants, play areas. At a very convenient distance to Mammoth caves.

“Our Trip”

The location of the hotel was perfect considering our trip consisted of the Mammoth Cave so it was very close. There are a few restaurants around hotel but not many shopping areas. If you want shopping do not go here but for everything else, this is definitely a good choice. The staff was very friendly, the breakfast was good and fresh everyday. My boyfriend and I enjoyed our stay and we would definitely come back again.

“Not Great, But not Bad”

Hotel is under going renovations and I had a room with new carpeting. I stayed here two years ago and they are definitely making improvements. If you are traveling with a group this hotel is nice because they have a large room off the loby (the breakfast room) that you can use to play games or just hang out in. The manager even came and turned the lights on for us one night. All the major attractions in Cave City are very close to this hotel and the Mexican Restaurant right next to the hotel is very good. The hotel pictures indicate that the rooms have kitchens, but only the suites come this way.

“Pay the extra money and get a better hotel.”

When we arrive for check in the lady in front of us was returning her key and demanded a refund. I didn't think anything of it until i got to my room. The room looked as if it hadn't been cleaned. the bed was clean though but the floor and random dirt all over it. The next morning i noticed someones hair in the shower. This hotel was still being remodeled as of 9/25/10. But atleast they could have had the rooms that where ready cleaned. There where 3 ice machines in the entire complex. Only one worked. There was a, what looked like a, high school reunion going so that ice machine was out of ice. The clerk did go and get us a bag of ice though. The location was great. A couple of miles from Mammoth Cave and other misc attractions like Gun City Mountain, which was pretty neat. A couple of near by restaurants was a plus. A mexican restaurant was across the parking lot a long with a Marathon gas Station (host of semi traffic at 3:00Am) Cracker Barrel was across the main street, alway yummy. Great location with several other hotels within a 1/4 mile. choose a different one.

“Not a good hotel”

This hotel had a lot of mold on the ceiling and bathroom in our rooms. The breakfast was very minimum. Everything else was great.
