Just wondering what the area surrounded by a stone/block fence in front is/will be? A patio? A garden area? Looks unfinished? The location was near the folks I was visiting and the price was great.

Boulder lost power.. the hotel was without power during our stay. That was not the hotel’s fault. But, we were in the dark for 12 hours. The staff should have passed out flashlights. Very unsafe and very inconvenient. It was not handled well.

Hi John,Thank you for your understanding. Yes, Xcel Energy proactively turned off the power to 150,000 people. It caused chaos. I am sorry that you had to experience that. Due to your review, I am looking into purchasing 100+ small flashlights that we can have on hand for when this happens again.

Lovely clean and modern hotel. Great value for money. Breakfast was ok most days depending on your tastes. I don't eat meat and one day there wasn't any non-meat hot options which was a shame. I don't eat diary either and there's limited non-dairy options. I would like to see more fruit other than apples too. Breakfast lady started clearing away before 9am which was annoying as we were quite late getting there and hadn't finished.

Great place to stay if you are going to tour CU Boulder or if you have a student there who you need to visit. Very close to campus and downtown.

i just wanted to say how amazing the staff is!!! i wanted to surprise my boyfriend for his birthday and i had some balloons and flowers ordered to the office and the room was decorated before we got there :) He was very surprised to say the least. i wanted to thank everyone who answered the phone and helped me with the whole process.

Great stay and great staff
The front desk was very courteous and friendly. The room was exactly what I expected and clean. The continental breakfast was good, and the options for breakfast changed everyday.

Nice, clean, and quiet. Not fancy, but it has what you need. Ample parking (Well lit) decent neighborhood. Someone is always at the front desk if you need anything.

Beginning the week in Boulder
The hotel is fairly conveniently located, and the room was spacious, relatively comfortable and quiet. The one chair, at the desk, was comfortable but could use a set of wheels, especially with the thick carpet. The fitness center, while basic, had enough equipment to get a solid workout. The breakfast offered some variety and the food was reasonably high quality. Unfortunately, the tea tasted absolutely awful - the person working there informed me that this was due to the filtration of the hot water in the hotel. The front desk staff was helpful, especially when I needed a spot to file up all four tires, which had inexplicably fallen low on air.
