“Modern and comfortable”

A good quality, modern hotel close to the Vieux Port and over the road from the Pharo Palace which affords excellent panoramic views over the busy harbour. Restaurants and shopping all in walking distance. The Hotel's restaurant is very good.

“A beautiful luxury hotel”

We spent ten days in Marseilles and treated ourselves to this hotel for the last four days. It's was just lovely. The pool is gorgeous, clean, cool and inviting. There are plenty of sun loungers around it and a sheltered terrace and drinks/food are served there 24 hours a day. The rooms are large, inviting, clean with great views. It takes about 5 minutes to walk to the Vieux Port one way, five minutes to the beach the other. The restaurant and bar are quite expensive though there are some good deals to be found. I can't recommend this place highly enough; just lovely.

“New Hotel of Marseille Le Pharo : séjour très agréable”

Style très contemporain dans un décor gris et noir teinté de touches fluo et d'oeuvres d'art moderne. Chambres très spacieuses et très confortables. Echantillons de produits (savon, crème, shampoing) de Marseille dans les SDB. Serviettes éponge moelleuses sur les chaises longues au bord de la piscine.

“Very clean, good service”

This hotel was opened in April 2006 so it is very clean. All staff that we dealt with spoke English and were helpful. It is in a good location - walking distance to the Vieux Port, but far enough away that you don't hear any noise at night. The no. 83 bus stop is about a 1 minute walk from the front door. When flying into the Marseille airport, get to this airport by taking the bus to Gare Saint-Charles and then taking a taxi directly to the hotel. It is about a 45 minute ride that will cost you less than 40 euro for 2 travelers (as of June 2006).

“Proche du Vieux Port, du Viel Arsenal et de St Victir”

Hotel ultra moderne, de superbe décoration contemporaine (en particulier les tableaux), très silencieux, impeccable ; ambiance de la décoration volontairement froide : on se serait cru à Beaubourg. Personnel accueillant et aimable. Cet hôtel vaut le détour.
