“Relaxed comfort”
I stayed at this hotel for a week in July 2009 while attending a conference in Marseille. The room was comfortable, and large by European standards. The bath was also large and well designed. The location is central, on a busy shopping street that is hopping during the day, but quite quiet at night. It is easy to get everywhere in the old city, and is close to the train station. The best thing about the hotel is definitely the service and the warmth and genuine hospitality of the staff. Free wi-fi was a bonus. Breakfast is good, but not included.

“Very pleased”
A great, central hotel for a visit to Marseille. Not easy to find because it is in a pedestrian area and the entrance is on a side street. However, I picked this up from other reviews and so had no problem. The hotel is small but very friendly and welcoming, and the service throughout was excellent. Really enjoyed the stay and would definitely stay again.

“Quaint Charmer in bust tourist area`”
First this is a 3 star hotel not a 2 star (it has a 3 star label from the French government displayed on the door). The woman who seemed to run the place spoke great English and insisted on speaking it with her English speaking guests. All the staff spoke decent English. This hotel is in the heart of the Tourist shopping district which makes it very lively and loud by day, but come early evening 7 or 8 depending on the day, all the stores cloe and it becomes beautifully quiet and restful. The morning after our first night the hostess asked how our night was and when I told her my bed was extremely uncomfortable she asked which one and what the problem was (lumpy and springs pushing) I came back that evening to find that it had been changed, and I slept much better. OVerall a great hotel in an interesting area. I would definitely stay here again.
