“Could not be better”
We had an excellent experience here. The staff was helpful and the room was modern, spacious and clean. The location is outstanding. The hotel is just at the edge of the Old Town, next to the historic baths, the Vendome Pavillion and the terrific historic area around the cathedral. It is a 5-minute walk to Cour Mirabeau. Excellent restaurant are just minutes away.
“Excellent location, wonderful spa perk”
This is a fabulous location, right in the old part of the city. The room was clean, comfortable and pleasant (if not particularly big) but what is really great about the hotel is that as a guest you can put on the lush robe provided and take the elevator down to the gorgeous, recently renovated spa where there is a wet sauna, dry sauna, whirlpool, excercise equipment and incredibly tranquil 'listening' room where there is a waterfall sculpture, lounging couches and headphones with music. I and my kids (10 & 15) loved ending the day with this unexpected, delightful treat. There is a full menu of services you can pay for as well.
“sûrement l'hôtel le plus agréable d'Aix”
Hôtel situé en plein centre ville proche des parking souterrains et pourtant caché à la vue des passants et du bruit de la ville. Le personnel de l'hôtel est très sympathique. Piscine chauffée et terrasse du restaurant fort appréciables en été, accès aux thermes direct pour les autres saisons : bref, quand est-ce qu'on y retourne...
“Good hotel, but a bit pricey!”
I loved the hotel, but all the extras really added up. With breakfast, parking, etc, the room certainly became more expensive. If I had realized this, I might have stayed at a hotel further away. The location was great and the staff was very nice though.
“tout est parfait”
parfaitement situé, personnel très gentil, belle piscine, chambre très confortable et spacieuse, nous n'avons pas eu le temps de tester le spa. Une prochaine fois.
“Excellent hotel”
Clean comfortable rooms; friendly(English speaking)staff; great location.
“A Great Choice for Exploring Aix”
The location of the hotel is perfect for exploring the old city. It is a 5 minute walk to the Cathedral and square. The staff spoke sufficient English and were friendly and helpful. The restaurant was a good choice when we wanted to stay in. We were in Aix for 2 weeks on business.
“Un hôtel qui frise la perfection”
Cet hôtel qui dépend des Thermes Sixtius est très agréable. Nous y avons passé un séjour très agréable et avons été enchanté des services proposés et du confort de l'hôtel. L'accès au spa des Thermes est très appréciable.
“Very nice hotel”
We have had 3 sets of (american) family stay at this hotel while visitin us. The hotel is very clean and in a good area of Aix- close to everything you would want to do. The rooms are large in size. The staff is friendly and they all pretty much speak english. It is connected with a nice spa where guest can go for free to use the sauna, turkish baths, pools, etc.
“Great option for Aix”
The hotel was clean, convenient, and had a great pool. Great location, great room, helpful service, staff were happy to speak English if that's a concern for you. Food and room service in the hotel way over-priced, but so many restaurants, cafes, and bakeries around that it's no problem. Parking at a garage half a block away, 9.50 Euros/night with a stamp from the hotel. Really liked the linens, flat screen TV, robe, slippers, etc. Cracked tiles in bathroom, but bathroom very clean. Good products. Modern hotel, does not have the "atmosphere" of a Provence B&B or similar. But if you have work to do or like a clean, modern environment, an excellent choice.
