Excellent accueil et superbe petit-déjeuner. Beau restaurant avec terrasse. Chambre tout à fait fonctionnelle mais un peu petite. Hotel idealement situé dans Aix. A recommander donc.

Nice hotel, friendly staff, clean well kept rooms and nice breakfast. Surprisingly they ran out of white wine after one bottle!
“Underwhelmed”
The hotel was fine - a short walk to the main square, but a bit pricey. Not warm and homey, rather elegant, suitable for business travelers to entertain. Probably will choose another hotel on our next visit.

“beautiful lobby”
The lobby and common areas are stunning, so we were surprised that our upgraded room was more like a ship stateroom...quite small & compact, especially the bathroom. Nevertheless, the room was attractive & the bed was comfortable. The included breakfast was sumptuous & the dinning area was gorgeous. The hotel is in an excellent location for visiting Aix-En-Provence. The carpet & the walls in our room were in need of refreshing & not quite what one would hope for in a 4 star property. Still I highly recommend the Roi Rene as it really was a lovely property and the amazing breakfast & aesthetically pleasing restaurant made up for any areas that were not quite up to par.
