This Boston hotel's 793 guestrooms and suites on 16 floors are equipped with Westin Heavenly Beds. The Heavenly Bed consists of a custom-designed, foot-thick pillowtop mattress with all-white bedding; triple sheeting; down blanket, comforter and duvet; and five pillows (two goose down/feather, two hypo-allergenic, and a decorative "boudoir" neck roll pillow).

Some rooms have Westin Heavenly Baths, consisting of a dual showerhead with multiple spray options; curved shower rod for extra room; white-on-white shower curtain; velour, waffle-weave bathrobes; oversized Brazilian combed-cotton bath towels; and citrus-scented Molton Brown English toiletries.

“Will stay at the same hotel next time”

Excellent location, from the airport, and major stops. Tour buses stop right at the entrance. We rented a car for our trip, was not necessary at all, extremely convenient location. When we return we will definitely stay there again.

“staff don't go out of the Way to Help You”

The location seems to be isolated from the downtown actions on weekends. I asked for a higher floor room. The desk replied it was not available . Yet in the elevator another quest had a high floor room. I paid 23 dollars for the buffet. I asked for a freshly prepared fried eggs. The waitress said I have to pay extra for that.

“Waterfront Westin Good for Business or Pleasure”

This hotel is a basic luxury hotel. My King room was huge but not visually the best I've been in. Bathroom was attractive and had a great shower head. Also bath if you prefer. Nice food but extremely expensive room service breakfast. I am not sure the restaurant pricing was better as I ate in the nearby design center where I was having meetings. The waterfront has developed over recent years into a pretty great tourist destination with excellent restaurants and a museum and some art galleries and probably a lot more I don't know about. Anyhow I highly recommend this hotel.

The Waterfront because it is developing and exciting The Boston Common and Charles Street area because it is romantic and oozes that old Boston feeling

“This is the place to stay!”

Everything about this hotel was wonderful - the location, staff, room, and especially, the indoor pool and gym. My husband and I had a wonderful long weekend in Boston. We were able to walk to waterfront restaurants, the stores downtown, and the Boston Commons and Garden. In addition, Mass Transit is five minutes away for longer excursions to the MFA. The staff was extremely nice and helpful, and our room had a fantastic view of the city. In addition, my husband enjoyed a daily swim in the immaculate pool. There was a whirlpool and well appointed gym as well. We'd definitely go back.

Area recommendations

Boston's Waterfront is pedestrian friendly and scenic. There are many restaurants and several museums. If you have children, there is the Children's Museum and the Aquarium. Also, there are several Mass Transit stations there as well. From this area, you can easily travel to the North End, the Freedom Trail, and easily find your way to the many historical sites and museums Boston has to offer. This area is safe and conveniently located. We were as comfortable walking at night as we wereduring the day.

“Great hotel in a good location”

We were in town for a Bruins game, and it was a good 30 minute walk to the Garden. Very friendly service, and nice clean rooms.

“Met expectations”

The hotel was reasoably priced and met all my expectations. The staff was pleasant but not overly friendly which still was fine. Nice pool and workout room and several restaraunts in the lobby.

Area recommendations

North side has great Italian restaraunts and the parkway over the Boston tunnel was nice to traverse by bike.
