If you are visiting the TD Garden, this hotel is a 5-6 minute walk. Great location for anywhere in the North End.

Stayed one night, very quiet and very convenient to TD Garden, bars and restaurants in the area. Only negative thing I have to say is that there is no Vallet parking parking, nor do they have their own parking area, but two close by lots charged $100 for the night.

Not a four star hotel. Rooms are tiny, one cramped elevator, essentially no staff in the restaurant. The one server in the restaurant smelled like marijuana and seemed high when my family was ordering (she asked my wife and I if we wanted to share a spoon) and had no knowledge about the items on the menu.

Check in was wonderful! I advised staff ahead of time we would be arriving early and asked to store our luggage. When we arrived we were personally greeted and a room was ready for us. The location is great! Easy access to the T station, many restaurants, and quick walk to TD Garden for Bruins game but out of the way of all the traffic. Would definitely stay again!

The good: This hotel's location is the best thing going for it. Located right around the corner from TD Garden, and within a short walking distance of the North End, Faneuil Hall, Boston Common etc. it's a no brainer choice if you're in town for an event or to see the sites. Although there is no onsite parking, the hotel works with a garage a couple blocks away to offer overnight parking at a discounted rate of $40usd/day. The hotel provides vouchers and charges you directly, which is one less thing to do when you leave. Outside of that the rooms are very compact, but offer very comfortable beds/linens and a decent size shower considering the size of the room as well as the basics like a mini fridge, iron and safe to help make the most of your trip. The room is also stocked with a variety of snacks/beverages, each with a hefty pricetag. The not so good: The rooms are LOUD. Whether it's noise from the street, the hallway or adjacent rooms you will hear all of it. The glass in our room's window was broken, the sheets had tears in them and the bath robe had a hole. This didn't ruin the stay, but not what you expect from a 4-star hotel. House keeping did a good job overall, but consistently missed food on the ground that was there before I checked in.

The hotel was chosen for its convenience and location near to TD Garden. This turned out to be its only redeeming quality. When we arrived, I was informed that I would incur further “amenity charges” per night. That was just a money grab because I do NOT know what amenities I received. My “amenity charge” certainly did NOT seem to guarantee me any heat in my room! I don’t know what the so-called amenities were except maybe to cover the cost of the L’Occitane toiletries in the bathroom. The room was fairly average and at first glance clean but after a closer look, it could’ve used a deep cleaning.

Heather at reception was great. Parking was a hassle to get from to the hotel. I realize we’re in downtown Boston but very noisy from street traffic. Bathroom door didn’t close all the way. Haven’t taken anything from the mini bar and won’t but nice touch having apples at the check in.

Nice, small boutique hotel. Located in a great spot to walk around. Rooms are small(average size for Boston,) but very efficient. Well decorated and updated. Love the overall atmosphere and great attitude from everyone who works there!

The property is very nice. We were in town to see our Celtics play and arrived on an early flight. A lovely lady at the front desk was gracious and we were excited that they could accommodate an early check in. The room is beautiful and stocked with a minibar and drinks already in the fridge. You pay for what you consume. There are also a few items you can purchase from the room as souvenirs. There were mugs, an umbrella and a cocktail shaker. Love our new mugs.

Old property, however, renovated and in good condition. Room poorly painted in dark grey color and furniture included odd metal frame towers. The bathroom was nicely renovated. Breakfast was fantastic! Overall a good stay, I would recommend it!

I am very upset with how Expedia and Hotel handled my reservation. Expedia scheduled the night b4 my stay . Either expedia or The Boxer cared to consider the wrong reservation. Each put blame on the other and i was stuck paying for an extra night we didn't use or want. Then the Boxer tried using a 3rd party to book the night we actually stayed and was $50 more than their own website cost. Ultimately we paid the website price do to our own die diligence. Overall very unhappy for paying for an extra night we didn't use and no one tried to correct it. Sincerely unsatisfied customer.
