“Great hotel for the money”

I was very happy with this hotel. The location was great. Only a 5-6 block walk to the T. Very easy to get around. Having the mall across the street gives you alot of options for meals. The pool was great and they have a nice locker room with showers. I would stay here again.

“Good hotel; restaurants pricy.”

This is a good choice if you want a quality hotel a little out of the way of downtown Boston and it's inflated prices. The hotel is in a beautiful location right on the Charles river, and close to many attractions. It is in walking distance of 2 subway stations, which gives you easy access to all parts of the city. It is in walking distance of the Museum of Science, which also houses the famous "Duck Tour" depot. A big shopping mall is right behind the hotel. We only had a (buffet) breakfast once at the restaurant of the hotel. It was quite classy, but we found it a little overpriced. The rest of our stay we had our meals at neighbourhood restaurants. We will definately go back to this hotel when we are in Boston again.

“NIce Hotel”

I ended up with a nicer room than the minimal traveller's room I reserved. It was tastefully decorated and comfortable. The bathroom was small and had only a shower stall but was adequate.

“Boston Royal Sonesta”

We enjoyed our stay, this location was right on the Charles River and accross the street from a mall with restraunt access. We were not far from Museum of Science, trolley stops, and train station (one half mile to each).

“very pleasant stay”

We were looking for a nice hotel out of Boston proper with close proximity to transportation and we found it. The "T" was just a few blocks from us, the Galleria Mall was just across the street and there were plenty of places to walk along the Charles River. We were very pleased with our visit.

“Superb hotel in Cambridge, MA”

Sonesta is truly magnificent: quick, easy access to Boston (short walk to MBTA green line), across from galleria mall (many stores, food court, restaurants). Had single traveler room with great Boston skyline view. Right near canal with Charles river cruise departures, scenic walkway, safe, and quiet at night! Comfortable bedding. Excellent service. Expedia: Hope you keep this property on your site. Another fine place I got from you, thanks!!!

“Nice Hotel for Weekend Getaway”

Arrived at 2:30 pm- was told we could get the Cambridge side room right away or wait until 3 pm for an upgrade to a river view room at no extra charge. Worth the wait - great views from 10th floor. Hotel shuttle (limited space - need a reservation for both pickups)very convenient-not much within walking distance other than the Science Museum and mall across the street. Feel free to call maintenance/engineering - it got warm at night (April)and the A/C was not turned on yet...seasonal problem in New England! Room has a small window that can be opened...be careful with small children.

“4th of July Spectacular”

This hotel is in an awesome location, friendly staff, and clean cozy rooms. We walked to the T to get into Boston and surrounding areas, which is very easy to use. We walked across the street to the mall for breakfast every morning. All the people on hotel staff were friendly and gave us great ideas. The outdoor patios were really nice to enjoy a drink after a long day of walking in the summer heat! We were too busy to enjoy the pool, but that looked really nice as well. I would return, especially for the 4th fireworks-- you are right there!!
