“A lovely choice in Cambridge”
The Mary Prentiss Inn was a wonderful refuge on a hot, sticky Boston day. While maintaining obvious historical connections, the Inn offers excellent modern amenities: airconditioning, comfortable bed, powerful shower. Our tea and cookies afternoon snack and full breakfast in the pretty garden were delicious. We will definitely return.
“Great, Cosy, Classy Bed and Breakfast in Cambridge MA”
Absolutely lovely hotel. Rooms are hugely comfortable and clean. Staff superbly friendly and very helpful. Very cosy atmosphere, feels right at home, except the tea and cookies are much better. Proximity and location make it perfect for all university visits.
“Different”
It was pleasant and a bit quaint, rather different from the normal hotels of these days. We seemed to be the only UK visitors for some time, but I think others from our side of the Atlantic would enjoy it.

“Perfect Cambridge Inn”
An elegant small hotel, well appointed and well staffed. Just blocks from Harvard Yard north and in a beautiful neighbourhood. Excellent breakfast. More a small hotel than a b&b.
“Charming and relaxing”
Decor was beautiful. Afternoon tea featured home baked goods, lemonade and assortment of teas- delicious! Breakfast was fantastic. Outdoor patio area was delightful and relaxing.
“A great Cambridge find”
A great little hotel with an amazing location in a quiet neighborhood but just one minute from Mass. Ave. One word of caution--if you're allergic to cats there is a resident cat in this hotel, and it loves to sneak into your room and hide under the bed!
“Nice & Quaint”
The hotel was in a decent location, about a 10 minute walk to Harvard Square. Not much more going on around the hotel, but a 5 minute walk to the T. The only thing I didnt like about our room was the shower...we were on the 3rd floor and got the back of the house, with the slant, so we had to KNEEL to shower! It was definitely a pain. Other than that, great time. Must walk to Rosie's bakery to check out the coffee, and must walk to Harvard Square.
“Just lovely”
Beautiful New England house with spacious rooms and furnishings that reflect the heritage of Cambridge and Boston. Hand made tiles in the bathroom especially delightful, and the grey cay curled in his basket at the top of the stairs, made it feel like home. Three blocks from grand-kids. Who could ask for anything more?
“Great Spot”
Loved the hotel, the food and the location. We were on a college tour and we couldn't have selected anything more ideal.
