“Optimal Quality/Price in Cambridge”
We were extremely satisfied with our stay at the Le Meridien in Cambridge. The complimentary wifi, and the comfortable bed and good heating/air conditioning, were all ace. Ace quality for the price. You probably can't get much better in Cambridge.
“Very good except two things”
The hotel was pretty good. Staff was always smiling. They were always very respectful and helpful. The only two problems are: 1) Sound isolation in the room was poor. I was able to hear what was going in the corridor pretty clearly. 2) The neighborhood is nasty. I thought it would be nice since it was close to MIT, but no. I was afraid of walking in the street with my suit, so I took a cab to the conference hotel that is only 1.1 mile away.
“cost”
hotel not very flexable on rates
“Great Stay”
Very clean, plenty of parking, very close to the city...excellent stay
“Terrific digs next to MIT”
A friendly hotel staff and modern accomodations made my business trip a pleasure. The Hotel at MIT is readily accessible to the rest of Boston and Cambridge by public transit and taxi. A bonus is proximity to the Charles River parkway for after dinner strolls, early morning exercise or contemplation in the midst of the city. I would stay there again.
“Hotel at MIT”
Great hotel and staff service. The restaurant has mediocre "hotel food", and the Central Square neighborhood is a bit edgy, but overall a good experience - I would go back.
“Great”
Very clean and quiet. That is all I needed.
“Great find!”
I loved this hotel. Unfortunately, my conference was at the Boston Seaport (convention center), which was quite difficult to get to. Closer hotels were sold out. I would definitely recommend the Meridian to someone visiting Cambridge.
“Great Small Hotel”
The Hotel@MIT is well-located in Cambridge. It's connected to a full-service supermarket that is open late. It has internet connections in the rooms and computers and printers available for free use in the business center. Also has an excellent, but small, fitness center for which there's no charge. More elaborate fitness centers nearby are available at reasonable cost.
“College Town”
This hotel is in a great location, close to everything in Cambridge and Boston. Traveling is best by foot. Parking is very expensive. The staff was very accommodating. Having a supermarket next door was a good feature too.
