Great view of the Charles River

Posted 14-Apr-2014
Pros: Super competent and efficient room-service staff. Informative front desk personnel. Great views and architecture.
Cons: TV position. Ventilation in room.
Location: It's a bit of a walk to pick up mass transit, but not too bad. (10-15) minutes.
Pros: Super competent and efficient room-service staff. Informative front desk personnel. Great views and architecture. Cons: TV is in awkward position, and cannot be watched comfortably from bed. In room movie and TV were unacceptably dark and controls are locked out so you cannot change them. No fan in bathroom so showers make is muggy and stuffy.

Visited Boston for PAX Convention

Posted 14-Apr-2014
Pros: Breakfast, Pool, Shuttle, Friendliness of Staff
Cons: Air conditioner was not great.
Location: Right next to MIT. Quick Train ride to downtown Boston. Freedom Trail was great.
Hotel was nice. Close to Kendall Station. Hotel has free shuttle to Kendall Station. Pool/Workout facilities were nice, but a little ways from main hotel above parking garage. Breakfast included and was superb! Rooms were clean and roomy. Air conditioning was not working great, but we managed. Staff was GREAT! Overall great experience.

good location/staff but needs updates

Posted 9-Apr-2014
Cons: incl. wifi in the room price and free overnight parking for hotel guests.
The common areas of the hotel need to be updated. It feels like a 80's hotel. Rooms are clean and large but both of my phones didn't work. Also paying $18/day for WiFi and $36/day parking is just too expensive! That's $54 on top of the already pricey room. The gym was nice, which will be update in the near future - I was told.

Great for a quick stay!!

Posted 7-Apr-2014
Location: Perfectly located...a quick cab ride to Fenway, Quincy Market and not ridiculously expensive either!
We only stayed one night but the room was perfect for one night. Convient location to get to different places around Boston. Taxis where waiting outside the hotel which made transportation around the city very easy. Would definitely stay here again!!

Wonderful Experience in this Hotel on the River

Posted 28-Mar-2014
Pros: Restaurant, gym and pool, restaurant, size and comfort of room and the staff.
Cons: If I were managing a hotel, I would use this one as a model of how to do it.
Location: I was there for two days and only went to HBS so nothing to share. If I had more time, I would have visited BU, MIT, Harvard, and key historic sites.
This hotel was priced significantly lower than others in the area, so I was expecting it to be under renovation or something else. I was VERY PLEASANTLY SUPRISED to find a well run, hotel that was in outstanding condition. All staff members were friendly and very helpful. I at at the restaurant that the selection was decent and the pricing also was not exhorbitant. I will stay here again and highly recommend it for others.
