Good room in a great locationPosted 19-Jul-2014
Pros: It's a bit different. And opposite a Bon Pain which is handy for breakfast!
Cons: The air conditioning needs updating
Location: You can easily walk to the park and good shops. There is a subway nearby to take you to the historical district and Fenway Park.
We don't like huge impersonal hotels, and this one has a bit of character and is in a helpful location. The only downside was the extraordinarily noisy air conditioning unit! The room was beautifully clean, though, and the toiletries were nice.

Location, location, locationPosted 18-Jul-2014
Room size was sufficient though not spacious (typical city experience). Bathroom not updated and a bit cramped in terms if finding space for unpacking things. The appeal comes primarily from its central location and decent pricing. No valet parking though there is a nearby ramp which partners with the hotel to offer a bit of discounted pricing.

Nice, comfortable hotel close to a lot.Posted 14-Jul-2014
Extremely clean hotel. Perfect hotel if you are not spending a lot of time in your room. Block away from resturants, shopping, tour buses, train, etc. Would for sure stay here again!

High price for a very uncomfortable roomPosted 1-Jul-2014
Pros: The location
Cons: See previous evaluation
Even though I requested two beds (I was traveling with my 17 years old daughter they put us in a single bed room. The air conditioning was directed towards the head of the bed which made me sick. The room was also very strange. A long hall and them a very limited rectangular space for the bed. I do not recommend this Hotel. Clos by you have the Pak Hotel which is less expensive and the rooms are by far better.

Great Back Bay Location and ExperiencePosted 26-Jun-2014
Pros: Atmosphere and Location
Stayed for work. Was wonderfully close to the office, Copley, Boyleston and Newburry Streets, and just a quick walk to the Common. Loved the neighborhood - tons of wonderful restaurants. This hotel is just great.

Good Hotel for exploring San Francisco.Posted 23-Jun-2014
Pros: Its location is excellent. The staff were helpful and friendly.
Cons: The breakfast arrangements could benifit from a dedicated room with tables and chairs
Location: Good central location for shops. It is a distance from Fishermans Wharfe, but you could get on the cable car or use public transport.
This hotel is very close to Powell Station on the BART so getting to it from the Airport is very easy. It is close to Market Street and shops and a 10 minutes walk away from Macy's and Union Square. The cable car station is about 3 minutes walk away. The only downside to the hotel is the rather strange breakfast arrangements. The continental style breakfast is served from a room on the 5th floor and you have to take your breakfast back to your room with you. As we were staying on the 5th floor this did not matter to us, but I imagine it would be a bit of a pain if you were on floor 1. To be fair I had picked this up from other reviews so it did not come as a surprise. Our room was a little on the small side, but perfectly adequate for our stay. The staff were friendly and helpful. If we were to visit San francisco again we would stay here.

Hotel 140 BostonPosted 20-Jun-2014
The hotel is located by The Trinity Church and is within walk g distance to most places. The rooms aren't that big but are clean and comfortable. Staff are all friendly and helpful. I will definitely use this hotel again when I return to Boston.
