It’s my own fault, I didn’t realise there were no restaurant facilities on site. Was a comfortable stay but was not ideal having nowhere to eat when the weather was horrifying outside. Shower had very low pressure and the bath was extremely low to the ground which wasn’t ideal, but not a dealbreaker. Some decent shops nearby but again, only really helpful if the weather isn’t awful.

Staff was super friendly, building and rooms are charming, plenty of parking. I’m not from the area and got here by GPS - I thought I was lost when it took me through a mall parking lot to get here, but once I arrived, I found the place totally charming!

Great property close to The Mall. The property is in pretty good condition. They have a cafe attached to the hotel which is where you get breakfast although breakfast included with the room is not the full menu. The lady working behind the counter is very friendly and goes out of her way to give good service. The young lad who was there on my last day was not so attentive.

I found the hotel to be in very good condition. The room had been recently updated and everything was fresh. I had read some negative reviews about being run down but this was not my experience. I thought the hotel was very good value and I would definitely stay there again.

We have family in the area and have stayed at this hotel many times. It’s clean and the staff is great. However, there is some deferred maintenance starting to show. Also the coffee/snack area is closed which surprised us. All in we’ll stay there again but the owners need to take care of some issues before they get worse.

Sonesta needs to decide its identity
This hotel use to be a Marriott - so it has good bones. It is spacious, and convenient to shopping. However, it is not well maintained. The sofa was badly frayed and the springs were shot. The bathroom contained stains though it was cleaned. All of this made it feel shabby and dated. Yet the furniture was well made. Sadly, the chain has gone ala carte. You pay extra for everything - even morning coffee (over $4.00 a cup). $10.00 extra, according to the e-mail I received prior to our visit, for a microwave in room. At the Christmas season, this felt a bit like scrooge. I will say all staff was friendly, though our interactions were minimal. The restaurant in the hotel was closed because of low occupancy. With sprucing up, this would be a lovely hotel. And a few gifts to the patrons - like free morning coffee in the lobby as you head out, would win more friends.

Courteous front desk staff, check in and check out. Room was clean, and so were halls and stairways. Had to leave very early so i appreciated being able to buy milk when i checked in and also the little coffee maker. I will return when taking Logan Express again.

Very clean rooms and convenient to shopping and restaurants. The only disappointing thing is the $100 deposit you have to put down on a credit card but they DON'T refund it until 3 to 5 days after checkout. Also, there was no bar soap in the bathroom. They had Shampoo, conditioner and body wash in the shower in pump bottles on the wall. The body wash smelled terrible.

I do apologize for any miscommunication regarding the incidental deposit. We place a hold on your card for 100 in addition to room and tax at check-in. We release it upon checkout, but your financial institution will typically take 3-5 business days to release it on their end. I'm also sorry for the oversight with the soap and that the body wash scent wasn't to your tastes.
