If you arrive after 11pm you will get an email in French only on instructions to access your room. The place is pretty tired looking. On a main road so noisy at night. There is an excellent little cafe on the corner overlooking the square, if you head towards the Tram stop. Front desk said need to go into town for a Cafe mid morning but you don’t need to. I would only stay here again if there were no other choices in the area.

The AC was a welcome with the summer heat. Great kitchen with new coffee pot (good filter). Microwave and a small oven. Location is a bit out of town center but walking a mile isn’t so bad. Safe area. Easy reception. Last minute booking and extended our stay.

Check in out of hours was very poor ,we were given a code for the main door but received no code for the safe to get our key cards but for a friendly laundry man who turned up and made phone calls we would have not gained access . Showers were dirty and no kettle in one of the rooms

Decent apartment for the price
The apartment is decent for the price. Seems to be soundproof. The room is quite small. The kitchen is equipped, good for couple or with a kid. The hotel is near tram and bus station, which has access to the city.

Practical and clean!
A comfortable and practical space. If you are staying in Bordeaux for a few days and want a space with a mini kitchen and a fairly good sized shower room then a good choice. I lucked out as had a little patio which was a good addition. It is a bit of a walk from the centre so bikes would be a good option. Quite clean, could perhaps have a new lick of paint but overall good value for money with helpful polite staff. I would defiately go back and bordeaux is a super city

Easy bus ride from airport. Near tram to Bordeaux Center. Nit a far walk. walk. Grocery stores and mall nearby. Staff pleasant and helpful. Healthy breakfast available No blow dryer. Great AC. Room service weekly.

Worst hotel I have been to.
Not a good experience in this hotel. I would never bring my family to a hotel like this. The rooms are very small. I had a room for two but only one set of towels. Cleaning is done once a week, not enough soap or toiletries. My bed served as the chair for the desk. There is a strange smell when entering the room, mildew possibly. The breakfast table is in the way of the closet. In the winter, no heating or control of heatin in the room. I was so glad to leave this place.

Decent place for a short stay
This was a basic, no frills family style apart-hotel. Clean enough and large enough for a short stay, with kitchenette and bathroom. Bedroom lacked a door. Multilingual staff was friendly and fairly helpful. No public space to speak of except for breakfast room. Location close to tram and bus, short ride to center or train station.

Room was fine but didn’t appreciated I had to clean the kitchen or be charged before I left. There were also no cups or glasses in my room so I had to ask for one which was fine but a little weird.

Basic hotel with no frills
Hotel is clearly targetted at business people or for longer stays as the rooms come with cooking facilities and are pretty basic. Shower smelled but we suspect this was due to plumbing issues as they seemed clean enough. Parking is actually provided by the next door public parking facility.

OK Hotel convenient to city center
THE HOTEL IS FARTHER AWAY FROM CENTER THAN EXPECTED at least 1/2 hour walk. However, very convenient for the tram. It is well worth taking ten minutes to understand the tram and you can explore the city easily.

Half the price for two tram stops
Two day visit, great time had, hotel location 200m from A Tram which gets you linked into everything including buses for euro 4.60/day unlimited travel, including public bus to and from airport. Town worth more than a two day visit

We were welcomed by their friendly and helpful staff, unfortunately the room itself had some issues. Our kitchenette taps did not work, this was remedied 24 hours after advising. The shower had low pressure and we were unable to adjust the height. It was set quite low and husband was a bit tall. Air-conditioning was insufficient to cool the room. The deck would be better if there were outdoor chairs to go with the table. If staying at this location we don't recommend the upgrade to their superior room as we saw no value for money.

Below Expectations
I fell out of love with this hotel the moment I learnt that my 'chambre fumeur' was in fact a 'chambre non-fumeur', that to open a bottle of wine would require a trip to Reception to remove the cork, and that the absence of a work-surface would prevent me from preparing even a very simple meal; and so, overall, that the reasons for my choice of hotel had been almost completely neutralised. In the interest of balance, the living/sleeping area and the bathroom were very clean and offered room for storage (unlike the wholly inadequately equipped 'kitchen') and the telly worked - essential when your opportunity to take a glass of Bordeaux rouge and a Benson & Hedges has been somewhat curtailed. Location is deceptively good - transport is excellent, at least for access to the town centre and environs: The tramstop is 3 minutes away and if you buy a btc (Bordeaux Transports en Commune) "Tickarte" - 12euros for a 7-day one - you have unlimited use of buses; use the 'Lianne 1' for getting to/from the airport after you've got your 'Tickarte' from the Relay shops on the upper level of the airport). You don't have to go the great 'Mériadeck' complex (3 tramstops away) to get you provisions (perhaps the bigger apartments offer adequate cooking facilities?) you can get basic foodstuffs just round the corner opposite the tramstop, as long as you are willing to pay twice what it would cost at Asda or Tesco - and bear in mind shopping for food in France is always relatively expensive.

Clean hotel/apartment, spacious and well equipped but the extra charges are ridiculous. 5 euros per hour before 3 o'clock checkin even if room is ready. Also I wanted to change to a room not facing the traffic and graveyard but they wanted 8 euros for a room not facing the street/graveyard. It's not like the other side was facing a beautiful pool or courtyard so I'm confused why they wanted 8 euros. Besides that the apartment was good. so I give it a rating of 3 for the unnecessary charges.

The hotel was very clean. Easy access to transport. A nice walk to the city centre and felt safe. The room could do with a little TLC but they were small improvements that certainly did not interfere with enjoying my stay. I would stay there again and would certainly check out their other sites.

A Truly Horrible Hotel
My flight into Bordeaux arrived late at night and I was informed that I would receive a text message the day of my arrival with a code to a safe that would allow me to get my keys as the building was unstaffed after 11pm. By, the time I arrived in Bordeaux I had not received a text message and couldn't enter the building I attempted to call the number provided in case of after hours issues. However, their phone line was so bad that it dropped out 4 times before I could speak to someone with the code, when I finally did speak to someone with the code, the code I was provided with did not work, I then rang up 3 more times and received the same incorrect code. By this time it was 2am and I had, had enough and given that I didn't have a french sim card I had spent a considerable amount of money trying to call them I decided to go to another hotel. Which meant walking through the streets of a city I didn't know in the middle of the night with 3 bags in hope of finding another hotel. When I returned in the morning I told the staff what had occurred and they didn't care at all and didn't apologise for the inconvenience or make an offer of a refund or any financial renumeration even though I was significantly out of pocket from their incompetencies. In addition the rooms were run-down and noisy, as I could hear the conversations of the people in the room next to me.

We stayed there for 2 nights, and overall the rooms are ok and the small kitchen enables you to cook a small meal. However, the colours of the windows make you go crazy when you spend time in a totally blue room (thankfully our windows were blue and not yellow or red).

The apartments are ok. We however had a fridge that never worked over 4 days - negated benefit of apartment over hotel - and never managed to get their unusual wireless system to work so internet connectivity was low. Also in the common area trying to connect required crazy password and involved a "process" every time. There is no French charm to the place - not that it should be expected in a chain. The staff was very nice, particularly on the phone before arrival. If you did a long stay for work, it does have lots of storage and the AC worked well.

Budget basic hotel.
On the plus, our room was enormous and the hotel location was good as you can easily walk 15-20 minutes to the center of Bordeaux. The only complaint is that the room was not cleaned properly when we arrived. We complained and were promised that they would check it. Unfortunately they mistakenly checked our friend's room and found it ok, which meant that we returned in the night to find our room in the same condition. It was too late to do anything about it and as we used that hotel for a night's sleep only we didn't make further fuzz. There is a charge for of 1.5 euro per luggage if you need them to keep your luggage for a few hours after check out.

Low price reflects what you get.
No service at the hotel. Fresh towels, extra. Maid service, extra. Everything except the room and WiFi is extra. Elevator did not come to the ground floor. Very few TV channels, all in French. Relatively new but cheaply built, nozzle adjustment in the shower cheap plastic, broken. Spend a few Euro more, it is worth the cost. Very convenient to tram, not much else around.

Nice location with good connection to centrum of city, very practical is small kitchen on the room. Hotel should be clearer about internet rates and prepare better connection system to internet (you have to register nearly each connection).
