Rooms clean and conveniently near downtown. However, no airco in summer made it for a very hot and warm stay. A standing fan just wasn’t enough. Also. It turns out this hotel is in a convalescent home. So you’ll see the occasional senior roaming. But not really an issue. Overall average stay for us.

There were bugs in the room and spider webs that had been there for some time. Otherwise the room was clean and comfortable. The common areas of the hotel were very nice.

Wonderful restorative stay-staff warm friendly helpful fabulous pool and sauna and a laundromat available if you need to do laundry. Highly recommend having breakfast included in stay excellent breakfast buffet. Centrally located. It is also a nursing home and it works well. Never seen a combination like this and was skeptical but truly a wonderful story. Highly recommend

Fabulous. Clean and comfortable room. Our son loved the pool. Breakfast was delicious with many options, including gluten free. Parking across the road in the parkade was only €4.50/day. We were here for a one night stopover and it suited our needs perfectly!

Weekend in Bonn
Greatly enjoyed the pool and the sauna that was available from 7am-midnight. Lovely hotel, good location,close to train station, nice breakfast

Good breakfast and very close to the city center. Didn't like that the hotel is at the same building with a nursing home and it smells a little bit like a hospital.

Beautiful hotel. Room was spacious and clean like an apartment with a little kitchen as well. Definitely book a breakfast as well. Lots of choices for adults and kids as well. Lovely swimming pool with a temperature of 30 degrees. City centre is literally 3 minutes walk. We drove from UK and car park opposite the hotel cost us €3 a day. Definitely stay there again

Elderly care facility, not a hotel
This is some type of care facility for elderly that also has a hotel. The pool was booked all day for exercise classes and therapy. We were not allowed to be out of our room or ask the front desk for things. We were always instructed to call for service which was a 3$ fee. Not a welcoming atmosphere for travelers, but probably nice for those living there.

I like the property, it has history, and a beautiful garden, the problem is Wife connection is poor, at room no Wifi connection, and room didn't have air condition, we have open the patio door to get fresh air, also, the room didn't have coffee and tea even don't have water boiler. The night stuff David is nice guy, he divered the water boiler later evening, and give us some fresh water. Breakfast is great! good tasty coffee what I like the most, the swining pool I enjoyed very much. next time I might be book there again.

Very nice hotel and very convenient, next to the city. Very nice to mix a senior house and a hotel. Nice service and staff. A hotel parking is missing however.

Great long stay.
I really enjoyed my stay during a lockdown of Germany. I stayed for 4 weeks and was treated well and although not all facilities were open due to COVID restrictions it was a pleasant stay. Really close to the city centre and my room was large and with a small kitchen (superior room). It was cleaned when requested.

This is a great place to stay. Historic and it has character. In an earlier review, I stated that I was a bit concerned about the fact that it is still a senior residence facility while also being a hotel. In response to my concerns, the hotel manager spoke with me and told me about all the precautions they take. I can honestly say, that it seems like they have taken enough health measures to ensure everyone's safety.

Great hotel
Really lovely hotel, rooms were very clean, spacious and comfortable. Has a small swimming pool and sauna which we made use of. Breakfast was pretty good. All in all a lovely stay, would definitely stay here again if we come back to Bonn

Spacious room in a convenient and quiet location
At a quiet location , yet easily accessible to the sights, shops and restaurants. The members of staff were friendly. The room was spotless and spacious for four of us with a very comfy bed. There is also a small kitchen. The breakfast had good selections. We would definitely recommend it.

This hotel has plenty of old world charm and is located just a couple of blocks from the main train station. Breakfast was included in the price of our room.

Great location, Clean and very comfortable but people need to know that it is also a home for elderly people. Wasn’t a big deal for us but might be for some people.

This was a unique hotel experience. It was spotlessly clean, the breakfast was delicious and the grounds were lovely. The hotel is split as a retirement home which was really neat. It was very quiet and well maintained. Everything was new and very comfortable. I would recommend this hotel to anyone that wants to enjoy a quiet, relaxing stay.

We live in the XXI century and need some comfort in our life. Can you imagine being in the non-condionned room when the outside temperature is 30+? If you want to try it, please stay in this hotel. This fact - no A/C - should be indicated by capital letters in the description of the hotel, in other case it is a bad surprise the an made us to leave it immediately and to look for another one

Nice hotel, but overpriced
The rooms were clean and served a purpose. I personally wouldn't recommend this, we were put in a room so far from reception near to the underground parking. It was noisy, the air con didn't work. No toiletries, I think it was overpriced for what the hotel offers. However it is in a great location, so I guess this is what you are paying for really. Breakfast was nice and there was a good selection and the staff were kind and helpful.

Interesting set up for a hotel; hotel rooms and elderly housing in one building, in same halls. Rooms were nice but shower doors were not flush to floor which caused water to run all over the bathroom floor making for dangerous, slippery floor. Restaurant had extremely slow service at off time and there were only two other tables occupied with guests to serve. Our rooms faced the busy road and traffic was very loud. No a/c so we needed the windows opened causing disrupted sleep from the traffic throughout the night.

I enjoyed the Collegium Leoninum, and would be happy to stay there again. The room was very large, like a suite with its own kitchen. Very pleasant space. It is a very short walk to the U-bahn entrance (you do not have to walk all the way to the station, which also isn't far).
