We booked to stay with dog and have parking the EN hotel site does not specify that there is 15 euro charge for dog per night which made the stay lot more expensive. Also it is not clear on the main EN website that parking is limited and very akward. The hotel and staff and the room was all great

Thanks so much for the check in 12 pm rather than 2 pm when I needed a rest. I don't know whether I got a smaller room because of the early arrival than the one I had booked but it must have been the smallest room I have ever stayed in anywhere. Breakfast space very cramped and could do with decluttering.

The bathroom was very small and challenging to navigate, like being on a ship. The A/C worked in the main areas but not in my room. There was a fan and the window opened, so it was not a serious challenge. The cost was very reasonable for the location and amenitiies! Thanks Expedia!

Bijoux Boutique Hotel
Quite a small quirky hotel neatly fitted around a courtyard. Nice atmosphere and well maintained. Friendly, efficient reception. Our room Irregularly sized with Juliette balcony but with all the necessary amenities squeezed into nooks and crannies. Good WiFi but TV programs in English rather limited. Decent bathroom. Good heating system but no a/c noticed. Only a couple of small negatives - bed a bit lumpy and shower hose too short for anyone over 5'6"! Nice breakfast. Very convenient to Bonn transport links and central attractions but inevitably with some city noise. Would definitely stay again.

Rude receptionist
The negativity for service is due to the receptionist in the morning. I asked her for some simple information about how to get to the airport. She was very rude and mocking when I suggested I might take the train (I have never been to Bonn before and did not know it's quicker to take the bus). It seemed to be a big effort for her to give me a map and information. She was just plain rude and should consider alternative employment (preferably one where she does not have to deal with people). She was better when I checked out. Ever the taxi driver was surprised she seemed happy when he collected me from the hotel, as she has a reputation of being rather very grumpy and not polite to her guests. Suggestion to hotel manager - this is the person who meets & greets your guests. Make a change soon. I will not stay at your hotel again due to her attitude and rudeness.

Great location
I got a room with two bathrooms. Once I waw sharing it with an colleague, that fact was amazing. The location of the Hotel is specially great. Walk distance for the center, market, pharmacy, metro station and everything else you need.

Good hotel close to centre of Bonn
Hotel was fairly easy to find, 5 minute walk from the tourist information office as well as bus/train station. We arrived at around 12, well before check in, so planned to leave our suitcases and return after 2pm. The receptionist was surprised to see us so early, but said our room was ready so we could check in straight away. We had room 44, top floor front of the building with a small balcony. The room was clean and spacious with 2 large single beds pushed together to make the double, large bathroom with a strange foot operated flush on the toilet. The decor and wood panels around the walls gave it an old fashioned 70's feel (the trouser press helped this!), but it was clean and did the job. A small bag of Haribo was left on the pillow for each of us every day as the sweets are made nearby, which was a nice touch. Breakfast was great - fresh juice, tea, coffee, all kinds of cheese and meat, several types of bread, jams, and usually sausages bacon and eggs being kept warm. Would recommend to get there before 9 as not everything is replaced. After a cold walk through town one day, we asked reception if we could have a coffee. He offered to bring it up to the room, and it seemed to be free! Don't forget to keep some €€'s to pay city tax as you check out - 5% of total stay. Overall really nice hotel, if a little dated, great location would definitely return!

Excellent location in centre of Bonn. Very friendly and welcoming staff. Rooms are well equipped and well thought out. Nice continental breakfast. Car parking is very restrictive (but free!), only 4 or 5 spaces so check in early! Alternative parking on street or nearby car park.

Nice surprise
The hotel lies in a pretty good spot, only around the corner from the U5, unfortunately that only runs further out or to Alexanderplatz, though in some cases that's enough. During my stay the S-Bahn cars weren't running well, and either had to take some buses or pile into RE, RB from regular train. Their were several families who seemed to be enjoying themselves and a mix of couples too. The breakfast offers all the usual plus their special Czar food. However, I thought I had ordered the room with breakfast and apparently didn't. That cost me an unfortunate 14€ at checkout. Not happy with that. Also, they were having WLAN user limit problems that night and next morning. Even the friendly desk help had issues. I had no problems for my first device, but my second was unable to connect even with the second username & password. Despite the little hiccups, I would go back there in a heartbeat and recommended it already to several German friends.

Don't recommend
No air conditioning. Impossible to keep windows open because street is very noisy and there are people smoking on the street constantly. Breakfast was simple but ok except that it was hard to get enough coffee. You had to ask every cup separately and it took often ages to get one.

Totale Enttäuschung: Heruntergekommene Gebäude, unbedingt midernisierungsbedürftig. Teppiche müssen mindestens fest geklebt werden. Das Frühstück ist untererdig gewesen! Noch nie hatte ich so schlechtes Frühstück gehabt. Wenig Vielfalt. Alles von Discounter gekauft trotzdem alles war Alt und voll ungenießbar! Nie mehr gehe ich da rein! Nie.

Fijn ontvangst en vriendelijke medewerkers achter de balie. Kamer zag er prima uit, klein maar fijn. Een tweepersoonsbed was in ons geval twee eenpersoonsbedden aan elkaar geschoven. Ontbijtbuffet was karig en niet lekker. De koffie, toch wel belangrijk in de ochtend, smaakte nergens naar. De ontbijtruimte was ook heel erg warm, ben benieuwd hoe het in de zomer aan gaat voelen daar.

Wir waren lediglich für eine Übernachtung im Hotel. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und das Frühstück war gut. Das Hotel ist allerdings schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber es war alles ordentlich und sauber. Leider hatten wir ein Zimmer zur Straße und der Verkehr (Straßenbahn und Busse) war schon deutlich zu hören.

El lugar especial para descansar en Bonn
La recepción cálida y eficiente. La amabilidad y las recomendaciones del personal del hotel han sido estupendas y éstas nos ayudaron a elegir bien los lugares a visitar. La comodidad de la habitación y la limpieza y los detalles inmejorables. También me ha hecho muy feliz que me saludaron por mi cumpleaños en mi segundo día de estancia. La ubicación y la tranquilidad del hotel perfectas. Lo recomiendo 100% porque se puede estar cómodo como en casa e ir caminando a todos los lugares de interés !!! 😍

Insgesamt schön. Könnte ein Update gebrauchen. Die Badewanne ist allerdings nichts für Ungelenkige oder ältere Menschen. Der Einstieg ist sehr hoch und eng.

Sehr schöner Aufenthalt
Es war ein schöner Aufenthalt. Wir waren mit mehreren Freunden dort. Das gesamte Personal ist sehr nett. Etwas chaotisch lief das Frühstück am ersten Tag ab. Dafür war es am nächsten Tag alles perfekt organisiert. Leider waren die Zimmer zur Straße etwas laut, da dort die Straßenbahn fuhr.

Hotel ist zu empfehlen, wenn man keine exklusiven Ansprüche hat. Einzig negativ: eine Badewanne zum Duschen mit gefühlten 1,50m hohem Einstieg und Duschvorhang ist nicht zeitgemäß.
