My wife and I chose Castel Hortenberg for our stay in Bolzano, and we were blown away from the moment we arrived through our departure. Secure parking with private gates. Upon arrival we were greeted with Prosecco, and this type of care and attention was given to us the entire time by Tommaso and the other staff. The room was mindblowing, facing the mountains and pool, everything felt like luxury including the Acqua Di Parma bath supplies. Incredible heated pool and wellness center that included 2 saunas, hamman, jacuzzi, aromatherapy showers and salt room (we went every single night!). Dinner down in the castle was fantastic both times we went, and we were even able to taste their own 100 year old olive oil. Bolzano was a fantastic location in between all destinations we wanted to drive to like Cortina D'ampezza, Seceda peak and other Dolomiti locations. It was truly incredible to come home each night after exhausting days to Castel Hortenberg. I already cant wait to come back in the Summertime for hiking! Be sure to book with them directly so your parking is included otherwise via Expedia we were charged extra. I don't have a single critical thing to say, my wife and I loved this place and we felt it was LGBTQ friendly.

Just when you least expect it! After a crash on the A22, we had an unanticipated stay in Bozen/ Bolzano. This Hotel is incredible - the attention to detail is exceptional, but also the team is excellent. This whole hotel is a hidden gem. Pool was piping hot in February. Amazing!

Das Castell liegt ideal, um das Stadtzentrum zu erkunden. Unser Zimmer war wunderbar ruhig während der Nacht, kein Straßenlärm, keine lauten Nachbarn. Der Service war hervorragend und die Auswahl beim Frühstück reichhaltig. Wir werden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen.

Beautiful hotel, good service, fantastic room. They removed the cost for parking when I complained hotels.com had their hotel as free parking. The only criticism was the exaggerate cost for my two littles dogs.

Gleich bei der Ankunft wurde uns als allererstes mitgeteilt, dass es für uns keinen Platz zum Abendessen gibt. Und das obwohl wir die Loft Suite gebucht hatten (buchen mussten). Wir sollten entweder den Roomservice benutzen (15€ extra) oder woanders essen. Wir sind zum Castel gefahren, um das schöne Restaurant im Keller mit Gewölbe zu sehen. Dies war jedoch an allen 3 Tagen geschlossen, wurde uns vorher leider nicht mitgeteilt. Die Auswahl an Weinen ist für ein 5 Sterne Hotel deutlich eingeschränkt. Entspannung war schwierig, da überall Lärm störte. Sogar im Wellness Bereich kam man einfach nicht zur Ruhe. Bei der Endabrechnung wurde uns dann zu viel berechnet (wurde allerdings komplikationslos gelöst). Personal insgesamt freundlich und zuvorkommend, aber Unterkunft eigentlich mehr 4 Sterne.

Struttura a dir poco splendida, ma servizio decisamente pessimo. Un 5 stelle non può avere un bar in un corridoio, che offre solo vino della casa (toscano) al bicchiere e che non fa servizio al tavolo. Un 5 stelle non può far passare i clienti in accappatoio davanti all'ingresso, poi al bar e poi nella sala colazione per andare in spa.

Gentile Signor Andrea, ringraziamo per la recensione e per il suo feedback, il nostro bar offre un servizio 24 su 24 naturalmente anche al tavolo, a la carté offriamo una varia selezione di vini regionali oltre ai nostri toscani. Essendo come avrà visto una struttura storica protetta dalle belle arti, non è stato possibile progettare una via interna nascosta, le vie per l'accesso alla SPA sono purtroppo "solo" 3 ed una di questo durante il giorno è anche l'accesso davanti al bar. Ringraziamo per i complimenti sulla struttura. Un saluto da Bolzano

Luxuriöser Aufenthalt im Schloss!
Ein toll renoviertes Schloss, dass sich innen modern präsentiert und trotzdem noch die alte Substanz erhalten hat. Die Zimmer (wir hatten das kleinste) sind sehr geräumig und haben einen tollen Ausblick. Ein paar kleine Servicethemen gibt es, manchmal ist der Empfang nicht besetzt, zum Start hatten wir kein Duschgel, dafür viel Hair Conditioner und Body Lotion. Auch könnten die Kosten für den Parkplatz vorab transparenter kommuniziert werden, wie so oft... Hotel liegt angenehm zentral und trotzdem ruhig. Pool sehr schön, für Vollschwimmer nicht lang genug!
