“Agree with previous reviews”

I am usually a backpacker favouring hostels but there seems to be quite a lack of hostels in some north eastern Italian cities e.g. Milan and Bologna! Hostels in Venice seem to be a pretty recent but welcomed thing. Anyway, because of past bad experiences with other hotels (mainly the cold), I decided to fork out a little more cash and got this hotel as a deal for 3 nights. I agree with other reviews that although the reception area looks modern, the room interiors are dated. However, it was clean, comfortable and warm. The air-conditioning/fan in my room didn't work but the temperatures was just right so I didn't feel the need to get things fixed. Another niggle - on my first night, the water from the shower was greyish which made me think maybe the room I was in hadn't been lived in for a while. The water cleared out after several minutes. Staff were generally quite helpful. Internet was free in the lobby which required an access code for the connection to be renewed every 30 minutes and that was a bit irritating. Otherwise, internet had to be paid for in the rooms.

“Nice Hotel But Overpriced”

Very nice and convenient hotel. Great breakfast buffet. However the price was very, very expensive for this hotel. It is not 5 star and at that price point my expectations are much higher. If you can get a better price then your expectations will align a little better with the facility.

“Good location and Good Value”

This hotel is walking distance to Bologna's central train station, 15 min to airport and 15 min to trade show center. Good amenity, F&B, and service. Great value compare to other chain hotels in town. I look forward to stay in the Jolly Hotels in other cities.

“Happy to return there”

Hotel is located colose to station and about half hour wlk from Piazza Maggiore. (Main square in Bologna) Found staff very helpful especially when trying to srot out transport back to airport.

“NH Bologna De La Gare a Winner!”

Although out of the centre of the historic city, transport links were excellent, not only for the centre, but also for neighbouring towns and the airport. The hotel was geared for business conferences, but we found the facilities very good for non-working visitors once we had paid E15 a day for an upgrade to a better room. Staff were helpful and friendly. Breakfasts were plentiful and fresh. We had a comfortable and pleasant stay in a superb tourist city.

“Not satisfied!”

Very small room, friends staying at the same time and paying the same ate had a room twice the size. When the representatives at the front desk were asked they said all the rooms were the same size, not so!
