“Great hotel! Five days wasn't enough!”

A very charming hotel in a very charming city! The hotel staff were always very cheerful and helpful and we immediately felt at home. The hotel was centrally located, two minutes walk to the center, but was lovely and quite at night. The taxi from the airport was a reasonable 15 euros with luggage, many good reasonable places to eat (and some excellent like i Portici, go for the 5 course taster at 75 euro a head, the 7 or 9 courses are just too big!) and lots of nice shops to look at! Breakfast at the hotel was great and until 11am which was a bonus, the cappuccino's were perfect! When we stay in Bologna again we will use this hotel, can't say better than that.

“a great place to stay in Bologna”

A wonderful hotel superbly located right in the centre of Bologna. The staff were extremely helpful even booking restaurants for us. The room was of a very high standard and very clean. The breakfast was buffet style but of excellent quality and a good variety of eggs,bacon, regional meats and cheeses and delicious pastries.

“Happy in Bologna”

The Hotel Corona D'Oro is right in the center of historic Bologna. Excellent for sightseeing. Our room was large and comfortable; the included breakfast was excellent and the service was very helpful. Finally the hotel is beautiful and very well maintained. I would highly recomment this hotel.

“In the center of everything”

This is a beautiful hotel in a great location. We walked to everything and we saw nearly all the sites to see in Bologna. The front desk was extremely knowledgeable about site seeing, train travel and most importantly, restaurants. The room was also beautiful and very comfortable. Bologna is a great spot for side trips. We spent one day in Ravena and one day in Parma. The train station was a short cab ride from the hotel, but we walked back after each trip. We would definitely stay here again.

“A pleasant stay”

Nice clean hotel a stones throw from the main square. Superb buffet breakfast .
