“Beautiful Hotel”
A lovely hotel. It was far from the center of town, but with close access to a bus line.
“B4 Out of this world”
My husband and I chose this hotel because the picture of the room reminded us of a Star Trek episode, we couldn't wait to get there! I had my doubts as many hotels secretly show you a more expensive room or at least not the one you will get but it was not so! We got a room just like the picture! I can see kids really enjoying the way it looks. There was nothing close but a supermarket and it was really all you needed. The hotel was great with giving us supplies to enjoy our fresh bread, salami and cheeses from the big market. We would have like to have had their breakfast but were off too early in the morning to enjoy. This hotel is a bit off the beaten path from downtown but the bus is very cheap and runs easily from the train station to downtown to the hotel, less than a half mile away from the bus stop. Busses were very frequent. Everyone was kind and spoke English to us well. The only thing it was missing was a pool.

“mediocre at best”
From one standpoint B4 Tower is a new, clean, modern business hotel. The bartender and restaurant staff is friendly & courteous. The food (breakfast and dinner) is good. The bed is low to the ground, hard and uncomfortable. There is a hospital nearby and you could hear the ambulances during the night. The men at the front desk friendly but the female staff rude and unhelpful. Their English was mediocre at best. I was told I could exchange usd for euros one morning, I did not go to an atm during the day because I was assured this would not be a problem and when I got to the hotel after a long day of business at the Fiera (when no banks were open) the second shift looked at me like I was crazy and told me it was impossible. The hotel is out of the way, not close to the City Center or Fiera. If you want a taxi, they need at least 10 minutes notice and if you're traveling during morning rush hour allow more time than that for the taxi to arrive and for travel. I left a folder at the hotel and have been trying to get in touch with them to get it back, to no avail. Though it is clean & new- and from what I saw that's not the case of many Bologna hotels, I would have paid more money to stay somewhere closer to Centrale as I wasted 30 euros each way on taxis. For that and a few more us dollars, it is worth splurging on something closer to the City Center.
“Good hotel but....”
the hotel was fine, and so was the staff. The only draw back was the in-room internet didn't function so I had to go to the lobby for the wireless service. It was OK for the business visits I had to make, but it was not really close to anything so any trip required a taxi.
